Never ate a corndog at Tiger Stadium, but I’ve celebrated plenty Aggie losses with Champagne outside Tiger Stadium. Corn dogs is such a lame insult. Makes no sense, but hey, it’s better than having folks from all over the U.S. post memes about our cheerleaders. ??

re: Concessions

South Carolina's arena concessions were excellent. Everything from Beignets to Bar B Q to brownies/fudge plus Ben & Jerry's ice cream, Pizza, Mexican food, Dipping dots, and more. I've visited a number of bball venues and SC, by far had the greatest selection of concessions. I don't know if they're able to offer the same selection at football games, but those of us from LSU left wondering why we don't have such a selection at the PMAC.
To paraphrase,

Playing in the SEC just means more!
Also, Jay Johnson is one of the best coaches in baseball.
To be absolutely honest, only the "rich" puts her as lottery winner. If you're saying she wins the jackpot because she's black and/or gay, you're not paying attention to what is happening in our state and country.

But I agree, that Staley plays the race divider card way too often. Don't forget her comment about "had the LSU fans backed Fargas liked they backed Kim, she would have had the same success." A totally ignorant & uninformed statement. Did she forget the success we had when Pokey was coach? We loved Pokey & went to the FF 4 consecutive times. Pokey had the fans support. Fargas did nothing to engage the fans, never contacted the big dollar folks who gave to the program, re-named our booster club w/o asking us, and on and on. Staley was talking about something she knew nothing about and basically called Tiger fans racists. Which was BS. We wanted to win.
I have confidence in Coach Mulkey and Coach Bob matching her skills and play to the position that ensures her greatest success.
I don't know who the hell this person is but, so often, reporters and outsiders with, I assume, a decent level of intelligence, twist Mulkey's words to meet their agenda.
Kim clearly stated that this reporter has repeatedly called her over the past two years and she has refused to speak with him after reading and responding to his prior piece on LSU and Brian Kelly. In that piece, Writer Babb tries to paint LSU as some unfair employer with their priorities out of whack. Their example is an unidentified employee who gets paid several thousand dollars per year while Kelly as Head football coach is paid millions of dollars per year. He uses LSU as am example and the villain in his piece despite Kelly being, at the time, the 7th highest paid FB HC in college football? He puts a throwaway line in his article that LSU is not the only school paying big bucks for FB HCs. One of his "inside" sources is Collis Temple who got his education and his 2 sons education from LSU by playing basketball. Free tuition, free housing, free meals, free medical care, dental care, eye care...Not sure what Collis Temple has against LSU.

Then, in her presser, Kim said Babb called her just as she's preparing her team for the tournament and she again told him NO. She then went onto share that she had discovered from prior players, Assistants, and other personnel that Babb had lied to them telling her former associates that Kim was helping him with his article.

Obviously, Ms. Bernstein has her own agenda for who knows what reason. It is also clear that Babb, a SC graduate, never took a class on journalistic ethics or integrity.
Should he publish his article, he should be sure he has the permission & written consent from his contributors. For consent obtained under false pretenses will not help him. I have no doubt he is a true believer in St. Staley. I don't recall Kim being a target while at Baylor. Why now? Why LSU? Who benefits if a negative article affects our recruiting in a negative way?
I know Bama fans have selective memories, but methinks things didn't go exactly as you recall:
AFTER THE BEAR:
Ray Perkins - 32-15-1 .677
Bill Curry - 26-10-0 .722
Gene Stallings - 62-25 .713 Nat'l Champ
Mike Dubose - 24-23 .511
Dennis Franchione 17-8 .680
Mike Shula - 10-23 .303

**Mike Price - 0-0 .000

**Mike Price - Caught at strip club using Bama Credit card. Hired & fired - no wins, no losses :rotflmao:
Why do you need to know the answer? Kim runs her program as she sees fit. She doesn’t have to
tell anyone anything except Woodward, her boss.

She was sick with the flu for the Ms Valley game, but played in the Kent St game.
Actually, there's a coffee table book dedicated to the year Ole Miss tied LSU for West Championship but actually lost to LSU so didn't really win anything and LSU went on to the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP- WON THAT then went on to the NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AND WON THAT!

BK actually won something his first year. I would think that Lane has to be worried that he's reputed to be this GREAT offensive mind and hasn't won anything of Conference or National import since he's been at Ole Miss.
If LSU wins out and reps the West in the SEC title game, I think we best Georgia. We defend the run pretty well and we can outscore them.
Eating: City Grocery
The Grove: Highly overrated; tents on top of each other; we went years ago and the rules were: You had to hide while mixing a drink; couldn't leave any ice chests with liquor/beer at your tailgate site unless locked and no fifths of liquor out in the open. Rules may have changed since we were there. We beat Ole Miss bad that night and an Ole Miss student cursed me up and down for daring to step under the tent of a tailgate to which we were invited guests. Really rude and nasty. Most folks were hospitable.
Breakfast: Bottletree Bakery is delicious.
Interesting take. Of course, the good news for the Tigers is that they've had several blue chip Freshmen step up against the OM farm team last week and show that they've got the right stuff to contribute mightily on Offense and Defense. Pair that with the Co-SEC Co-Offensive players of the week & with the likes of Perkins, Weeks, et al on D, I think that by the time Bama dispatches the Webels, the Tigers should be fine.

My guess is you know little of serious mental health issues & how they affect one’s ability to think rationally. To have a lack of impulse control; to have the inability to factor foreseeable results of one’s actions nor care. Mental health issues are real & cause a myriad of serious problems. I have no idea if that has played a role in his repeated misbehavior, but it is possible & should not be dismissed lightly.
You must not be reading the LSU Message Boards. The Tiger fans are not super confident. On the contrary, the FSU fans are confident that they out-talent LSU at every position. Many FSU fans assert that they will win by multiple TDs. Frankly, as a Tiger fan, I just don't know. We have several new players who are young and will have to play their best. Our secondary hasn't played in a big game together. The NCAA screwed us with keeping Maason Smith out. So, who knows? Being only his second year, I'm not sure what BK will do. So, lots of Tiger fans aren't beating their chests and guaranteeing a win. We're hoping there's improvement and BK is the answer at HC. But this is only year 2. Of course, with that said, so far 2d year coaches at LSU have been DAMN impressive!
Finn McCool's in MidCity is a good place, too. Friendly. Good bartenders. Good prices.
This from a citizen of Texas? That's rich. The state that gave us a governor who wanted to outlaw the teaching of Spanish in Texas public schools. Her argument:

"If English was good enough for Jesus Christ, it's good enough for the school children of Texas!" :rotflmao: :rotflmao:
