LSU is one of the usual suspects to take the fun one step too far and spoil it for the bunch.

How so?
Please list all the "usual" shenanigans of LSU vs other programs?

yeah, and Livvy Dunn is going to leave Paul Skenes for me.

Don’t blame the NCAA

I absolutely blame the NCAA. Not for their current approach but for Emmert and the Presidents/AD's and sat with their thumbs up their pleading for the "amateur" status of the student athlete. Everyone knew that was bullshite and players were getting paid, yet they were penalizing kids for accepting a hamburger at a local restaurant. They were denying them the right to have NIL deals. Any competent, rational person, let alone academics and sports administrators knew this was a losing stance. They could have headed all his crap off by being more proactive.
Their Deny, delay, deflect and defend strategy failed miserably. Once they let it get to the courts they were going to lose.
As Bugs Bunny would say, "what a bunch of maroons."

Sankey already said none of these players can transfer to other SEC schools. So nah

Sankey would lose in court. I'm sure a team that wanted him could find a friendly court like you guys did for Chambliss.

I know it’s all about money

The Group of 5 deal was not about money. It was about anti-trust. If they had no criteria for including a G5, they would have been sued.

I agree with you about the Big 12, a total shite conference. The ACC is weak but it has some programs that have been viable contenders at some point: FSU, Va Tech, Miami, Clemson. The Big 12 doesn't have teams that have reached that level of success unless you consider last year's TT team or TCU when they were annihilated by UGa.

I have no idea why "alternate uniforms" is such a big topic.

There is nothing wrong with staying with tradition like USC, Penn State, Bama and other blue blood programs. It's part of the "brand" and instantly recognizable.

I can see it as something to do for the players or recruitment once a year.

We don't want to be Oregon with their whackadoo uniform schizophrenic bs.

FWIW, that design was pretty cool.

...and yes, I'm a boomer but I don't have many boomer traits. In fact, I'm somewhat of an anti-boomer, the most disappointing generation IMO.
2009 LSU v Ole Miss unfortunately was the JJ spike the ball with 1 sec left.
The clown jewel of Les’ clock management skills.

Sark has a better record at USC even while drinking heavily.

You fail to mention that Kiffin was dealing with severe scholarship reductions in his tenure. They really had their effects in his third and fourth seasons.
He was 8-5 and 10-2 in his first two season before the scholarship hit.
Sark was 9-4 and 3-2 before he was canned. His 3-2 was the same as Kiffin in their final abbreviated year.
So your "analysis" is horse dung. Then again, you're an Aggie. Facts don't matter.
If you want to laugh at opponents, check out Indiana. They play ZERO P4 OOC teams.
Their first 3 games are against:
North Texas
Howard
Western Kentucky

Soon, no big time program will play decent OOC opponents. The CFP is not tolerant of losses and gives little credit to teams that schedule major matchups. There is no RPI or NET ranking system.

You are seeing cancellations of future OOC marquee matchups across college football.

The old BCS computer ranking had its flaws but it was better than wet your finger and check the wind direction the CFP committee uses or will use. The sad thing is that a composite computer ranking with advanced metrics could be of huge value. It's better than automatic bids.

It is indeed “pro” in every way just as in women’s professional tennis or golf.

Her base salary is $350,000. How many here pull down that? Plus…
Her endorsements may be worth between $8 to 10 million.

Interestingly she doesn’t run from poor shooting. She embraces it and “mebounds”.

If you don't think aTm is spending huge dollars on NIL you're an idiot!

This is not a fact. Nothing has been sold.

Yeah, Saban never yelled at his players in practice or games.

The GOAT chewed arse at extreme volume levels. Hell, he looked like he was going to stroke out at times.

Aggies are really clueless. I get it. You haven’t won a damn in so long you can't have a clue.

There is nothing for LSU to do.
Kiffin explained the rationale for giving the number to DJ. The policy is clear.

The stink is entirely on Daniels. He created the situation. The ball is in Jayden's court. He can also choose to do nothing and let the media coverage die.

I would imagine that LSU's legal representation will respond if they deem it necessary.

I have an early doctor appointment today so I set my alarm for 4:49.

I don’t think so. I think it’s that many have come to grips that his talents and abilities did not live up to expectations.
While he was surely hamstrung by poor coaching, terrible scheme, etc all compounded by injury, he shoulders (perhaps unfairly) the disappointment of a failed season.

I am not sure of the validity of these helmets, but there has been, starting use last year in HS and some college/pro, another device. It is a strap around the neck that chokes off the carotid artery a minor amount, which minimizes the 'slosh' in a head collision. It has been determined that the 'slosh' is the main cause of a concussion. This device is in effect now even more than last season. I don't know if LSU has anyone wearing the device,

I was just reading about this. It actually has NOT been shown to be effective. Some fault the FDA for “clearing” it (not approving). Looks more like junk science and the product of marketing rather than efficacy. I doubt you’ll see very many colleges employing it. It supposedly restricts blood returnfrom the cranial area to create a “cushion”. Pretty dubious!

It’s now yesterday’s news.

He’s going to quickly become a footnote in LSU history.

Have you reached acceptance that all of Cody's money won't buy you a national title or a seat at the big boy table?

convinced the previous OL coach either had it out with him or just really had no idea what he was doing.

Not sure about the former but Davis was a total and complete failure as OL coach. Of course, Kelly was so detached and unconcerned that he let that go on without intervention..

There were group of 5 programs with far less talent who had better run games against P5 teams. Part of was scheme but much of it was coaching.
Hell, even in 2024 with 2 high OL draft choices, our run game sucked. Jayden Daniela was our rushing attack in 2022 and 23.

Davis was awful.
100% of Indiana’s.

It’s the new norm.

How many schools have a murdering scumbag on the majority of their national titles?

But a man who redeemed his life by serving others. That’s actually a very wonderful and compelling story with an uplifting outcome.

That’s something you can’t understand nor appreciate.

Otherwise, Daniels is the villain in this story not LSU.
