Seriously dude?
Sure, it was just coincidence that Ole Miss started winning when Kiffin took over. In the six years prior to Lane Ole Miss was 40-35, a sterling 0.533 winning percentage. In Lane's six years you went 54-19 for 0.740, and that's even after his 5-5 inaugural season, inheriting a shite show from Matt Luke.
Oh yeah, four 10 win seasons in 6 years when the Runts had only three 10 win season in the prior 60 years.
You're pathetic.
Keep smoking the copium.
What kind of quality assistants are going to come here to work under a lame duck, dead-man-walking scenario head coach? Just more payouts to another (new) group of assistants when McMahon is canned.
If you suck, it starts at the top. If you're not going to fire him don't double down on a new group of coaches.
I hate Jeremy Foley, former AD at Florida, but he had an often stated philosophy .. "what must be done eventually, must be done NOW!"
Also, payout is in installments so it's not a big hit immediately. It's really the cost of luring a quality coach and the NIL dollars. Unfortunately, no one was coming to a messy LSU situation with the possibility of scholarship penalties, etc after Wade without an iron clad financial guarantee.

Will 2026 LSU football be 2022 Texas A&M football?
Better question for a Rebel Runt like yourself:
Will Ole Miss return to 60 year tradition of striving for mediocrity now that Kiffin left. As for being familiar with 7-6 and 8-4, that was considered a great year for Ole Miss prior to Lane's arrival.
FYI, Golding was just a stand-in for the man who got you to the CFP.
Keep trolling dude. It's weak and screams insecurity over the "Bugger" Golding era.

Maybe Kim has lost a step. Maybe she's losing interest and is ready to retire, eat crawfish and drink beer.
This seems to be the most talented team she has had since her arrival and I thought they had a chance to be special. Regardless, I doubt that anyone beats UConn this year unless it's a fluke but I was certainly hoping for more.
We are no better than 4th in the SEC at this point.

It's a way of coping if you're a fan Mississippi State. It's the oldest form of self medication.
Nope..
They have a few more good players and, even if you find Staley annoying, she's a helluva coach. As for the mental conditioning, I think the SC players play with more control and focus and that, to at least some large measure, is due to Staley.

That's nice.
Now lets do National Titles just in this century:
LSU 4 Tennessee 1
How about Football this century:
LSU 3 Tennessee 0
How about men's Final Four hoops this century:
LSU 1. Tennessee 0
I'll admit you've got us in women's hoops title this century 2-1 and, of course, all time.
You talk the talk but can't walk the walk.

Not really. All those guys are stepping up in the level of competition.
However, Auburn has to have some reason to be excited so it might as well be some geeky, mythical, paper evaluation of the bestest quarterback transfers.

Yep, it's a pretty stadium with great amenities etc.
You have to accept the fact that upgrading the Box is just not a priority.
Even if it's paid in monthly installments, we're on the hook for $50 +million for Kelly and another 6+ for McMahon. We're now obligated to pay $20,000,000 in revenue sharing to athletes.
Nothing has been settled about the new arena and Tiger Stadium still needs work and Football is the cash cow.
We have some generous donors but their resources are not limitless and you can only float so many bonds for capital.
Plus, there are needs on the academic side and has some shortcomings as a flagship for the state. Not that anyone cares. It's Louisiana.
The Box is what it is.

How do you can Brian Kelly after his average, albeit not awful, tenure but keep this clown
Because football is the face of the LSU athletic program. Nationally, no one expects LSU to be good at basketball.
I am sure McMahon is a gone pecan although he'll probably finish the season unless Verge and Rousse see any advantage to end it sooner.
I assume Verge has a short list already prepared.

Not once have I heard this guy admit he doesn’t belong coaching at this level
What coach would? No one should expect him to go the podium and say "I don't belong here and I'm not good enough." Coaches say things like "I haven't done a good enough job and I have to do better."
It's obvious that he can't hack it; lacks the fire and intensity, is incapable and unsuited to coach at this level. I wanted him to succeed but he fails at every level: recruiting, development; X's and O's, program management and all the rest.
I imagine that his buyout is structured to pay him his salary monthly for the term and not a lump sum. I can't imagine that he survives past this season.

Too early to label him a bust but the jury will be out on him as an NFL tackle until he proves the pre-draft doubters wrong. It’s on him.

It’s not necessarily hating on him if it’s objective and backed up by what we witnessed.
Jamarcus was a bust. I don’t “hate on” him. I wasn’t totally surprised by it either. It was what it was with him. The same with Campbell. It is what it is. He has time to improve but right now he has struggled.
He played in a poor scheme under Kelly and had an awful position coach. However I never heard an in game analyst say “the Tigers are going line up and run behind their great left tackle!”
I wish all former Tigers the best in their NFL careers. I am very happy that Boutte and Chaisson are having success after some early struggles or lack of playing time. Hopefully Campbell will do the same.
Imagine being a Bama fan knowing that your glory days are in the rear view mirror. It must be a shock to see the early preseason predictions being ranked in the mid teens.
Oh well, nothing lasts forever.

I'm going to take up for the Aggies here. They have it rough. You can't blame them for their frustrations. After all, they are the butts of many jokes. They are constantly mocked, ridiculed for their weird and embarrassing "traditions" and behaviors.
To top it off, their futility in the major men's sports makes them sad and sometimes desperate. They've never made an Elite 8 much less the Final Four. Although each year they are expected to compete in football, they sadly have no national titles since 1939. That's 87 years of squat.
They've also never captured a men's CWS title.
While there are many among us who are Gator haters, after all they can be real pricks, that is not why I am showing sympathy for the Ags in this instance. I just feel sorry for them.

re: Have We Brought Up How Many Bad Seasons Lane Kiffin Has Had as a P4 Head Coach?

Yeah, Bama needed a miracle FG block to beat him at Tennessee.
Hard to measure his tenure at USC since he did well his first two seasons and then had to deal with the loss of 30 scholarships his last two seasons.
Anyway you slice it, you and the rest of the jackals like to cherry pick your points to curb your fear of what Kiffin might be able to accomplish at LSU.
He took an Ole Miss program post hooker gate and the Matt Luke clusterfrick to new heights. Remember Ole Miss had not achieved any sustained success since the mid 60s and were described as "runts" by current aTm AD Trev Alberts.
I know it appears that you're just having fun and trolling but, in reality, you're just scared and "whistling past the graveyard."
Plus, you're stuck with DeBoer who has already lost 8 games in two seasons. For reference that already 25% of the number of losses Saban had in 17 seasons at Bama.
