I think she's an embarrassing clown

She probably wouldn't have a high opinion of you as well.

Regardless, she's a millionaire with a hoops career, modeling career and endorsements so she doesn't give a shite about you or the rest of the folks on the Rant think of her.

re: Is Dawn Stanley Racist?

Lauren Betts' battle with serious depression is well documented and stated that Dawn Staley reached out to her when she was in the hospital. That doesn't sound racist to me. Her scowl and demeanor may put a lot of people off but so what?

The people who call her racist should look in the mirror. To them any person who expresses any opinion or view on race, including the well documented history of racial prejudice in our country is a racist.

Not SEC talented. Jay missed on him.

It’s fine if you miss but don’t compound it by keeping him in the line up.

Also, the current model in college athletics needs sweeping changes.

No shite!!

Regardless, the EO won't change anything. It's a pointless gesture more aimed at politics than any substantive. Another blowhard moment from the king of blowhards.
Trump's EO doesn't mean a thing. He can't regulate college sports.

Nothing will fix the current situation and until there is legislation to grant antitrust exemption to college sports and a collective bargaining agreement.

The courts are going to consistently side with players on transfers and compensation.

Is he aware that there is war going on?
How about the economic pinch Americans are feeling?

So glad he’s focusing on college sports. Oh yeah, and his ballroom!

While EV development and sales have declined in the U.S., they are increasing in other developed nations. GM and Ford haven't given up on EV development, they just had to retrench after the elimination of the tax credit and slowing of infrastructure.

Regardless, EV sales will rebound and probably gain nearly 50% market share in the 10 years.

Meanwhile, China is leading the way in EV development and is the big threat to the auto industry. So much so that Biden slapped a 100% tariff on China EV's.

Glad to see you living in your retro world fantasy with your pseudo macho bro mentality.

Because Lane won so many big games huh? Lane lost to UGA. Pete beat UGA.

I think Lane beat UGa in 2024 and it was Pete's defense that gave up all those 43 points put up on you. Oh yeah, Pete won a neutral field while y'all lost on the road in a hostile environment under Lane.

Make no mistake, that was Lane's team and the offense was lead by Lane's LSU staff.

Pete "Booger" Golding will be the next Gene Chizik or Larry Coker. They were men who had initial success with a program someone else built and then were canned after wrecking the program.

Lane will never win. He wouldn’t have won at Ole Miss either. He reminds me of the PoS in many ways. He can get close but never over the hump.

His record says differently. He took a bottom feeder Rebel program and built them into a consistent winner. His last 5 years at Ole Miss he won 50 games. In aTm's last five years, the Aggies have won 39 games.

A team he built, lead by his offensive coaches got the Rebs to the CFB semifinals, while the Aggies didn't make it past the first round.

Don't let the facts get in the way.

PS: Kiffin is a cool dude while Elko is just a big fat slob.

How is lsu getting around the rev share limits

No one is following them because not every team/conference has fully agreed to the CSC (College Sports Commission) oversight. As a result there are no rules or limits.

Programs are taking every advantage in the lack of leadership and accountability. The NCAA's pathetic leadership, with the complacent and self serving conference and presidents has forfeited any sense of control, compliance or accountability.

NIL is not name, image and likeness. It is pay for play. There is no capping that in a free market. Programs can spend themselves into oblivion with the help of deep pocket donors.

Nope. It's hard to be a fan of a school whose colors are "inmate orange". Hell I remember when sanitation workers used to wear that orange.
Congratulations on playing in the "Who Cares Championship". Maybe you'll win the participation trophy.

Bravo!!

I think SEC Unfiltered is blaming or shaming the wrong folks. Appears to be trashy UGa fans (big surprise) being asses to a Vol coach and his family.

Just another day in the SEC where some fans can't help but be douchenozzles.

But a lot of it has to do with how does such a small state with such a small population make this much noise

It's more about the perception of it being a small state that ranks low in median income, education, infrastructure, opportunity, and a "flagship" that is ranked between the 60s and 90s of public universities by several sources.

They find it hard to balance those perceptions with attention and resources spent on LSU Athletics.

We, on the other hand, balance the disparity because of the immense pride felt towards our Tigers and their accomplishments. When LSU does well it lifts the spirits of the entire state.

NC State shouldn’t counter offer. If he is ready to bolt after 1 year, they don’t have a realistic hope of retaining him over the long haul.

He is plainly not committed to them. Why be in a position of where you’re always looking over your shoulder.

His heart resides elsewhere. (LSU)

Surprised he hasn't gotten the hint and started looking for a new job

Why would he? He's got a massive buyout that will keep his wallet fat for the next three years.

Take a little time off, enjoy your family, decide where you will relocate.

Top 5 in the SEC and 9th seed in the dance. Might win a first round game.

Seriously? There are 4 SEC teams but only one ACC program in the Sweet 16.

The current SEC is brutal. I am sure Wade will turn it around but he didn't finish in the Top 6 in the ACC. However he could definitely make the tourney in year 1 if he lands the right players in the portal.

That's assuming he even returns. There are a lot of confident folks on the Rant and the relationships he has with Rousse etc makes it plausible but
I'm still skeptical. Never count your chickens ...

a lot of smoke for sure

Not really. No one in the national media has reported any rumors, innuendo, "unnamed sources", etc. The smoke is all message board chatter with random folks hinting or downright claiming it's a done deal.

Wade has made two significant statements to suggest that he is staying put at NC State. Some have taken those statements as non-denials.

The only silent search that I can recall is the Woodward's hiring of Kelly. That was a shock to everyone. The Kiffin situation was LOUD.

Hunt Palmer said his "spidey senses" are tingling because everything is so silent.

I just hope that there is a plan B because we have to move on from McMahon. However I have a feeling that it's Wade or bust.
