No running game… Oline … Clemson kept two high safeties. La tech played 3/3/5 which even gave burrow fits when Auburn did it.

I am not personally aware of how to attack a 3/3/5. I guess it means 8 in coverage a lot of the time. And our Oline is not able to get enough movement at the point of attack to make that hurt the defense

Smart coaches would say LSU hs a very good team and played well for,a,first game on the road.

Clemson did not look good on offense at all. Couple of favorable no,calls. Their QB did not look like a Heisman leading experienced QB.

I guess I have to accept that Clemson defense is pretty good (best LSU will play?). We were pretty conservative on offense and did not challenge them deep. Protecting our line and Nussmeier.

Ok. 44% seems like a good bit. You have to pass on non passing downs. Or the rush kills you. Have to be credible in the running game to manage the clock. Score in the red zone. Keep defensive ends home
