No that would be 100% illegal.
This is how society crumbles over night. Legalize theft, businesses close. People are robbed and people get killed. Nobody would be immune to that.

NYC: Socialist Lawmaker Claims Stealing for ‘Biological Need’ Should Not Be Illegal

Most of what we saw were crimes of poverty-people who are stealing things like toothpaste, people who were stealing things like, you know, soap. And that means if you’re stealing those things, you need them. And we are choosing to protect billion-dollar companies, like CVS and Walgreens, over the people who are struggling to get by. So I would say that the true crime is that there is such incredible wealth disparity in this city that there are people who can be thrown in jail simply for having a biological need.

Everybody has an opinion.

Understand. However, I posted factual data. I could have posted beliefs or assumptions. But just point out the facts.

For example, is this win going to be before or after we win on the bills that were supposed to follow the BBB that were supposed to address spending and such?
Yeah.... congress sucks.

I've been told prices were going to come down for a while now. And I see victories every 10 cents it goes down. It reminds me of my wife celebrating losing 5 lbs all the time while ignoring it's the same 5lbs over and over.
Agree. I get that. At the same time, I know why prices were up prior to this "war". That same time frame I posted, the reason why prices went up was due to Iran's proxies.
That with iran claiming they are close to having 11 nukes was something that had to be dealt with.
Had they obtained nukes, they would have been able to hold the world hostage.
Our move was to stop their nuke program and remove their threat of holding the world hostage via proxies.
So now prices are a bit lower while the strait is becoming less important to the world supply.
The USA is selling more which is great for business. And Iran is becoming less relevant.
20 million bpd passes through the strait. When the current projects are fully completed, 60%+ will be diverted.
Once a few other ME nations finalize deals and plans, the other 40% will be diverted.

I left out nothing that pertained to the point. Read it again.
With the Strait closed. With Iran's leaders (50 plus) dead. With their nuke program in shambles. With them not being able to export nearly as much. With them increasingly not able to finance their terror groups in the region.
That is success. And the truth is, as these nations reroute to avoid the strait, prices will continue to fall.
Any disturbance to supply chains or conflict in general will cause prices of various things to go up until nerves are calmed.
Strait opened. What were the prices.
Strait closed... prices now lower.
