This fan base has lost its collective minds if they call this a win. Your program caved in and fell in line just in the nick of time. To see it any other way is delusional at best and downright Dunning/Kruger thinking. The money spent and the horrible attention didn't make LSU look stronger. It made it look weak caving in. They did what they were "told to do". You guys keep on thinking it was a win. The normal people... well we see it for what it was. It was a Lane attention grab created by a coach who's going to leave you for the first NFL golden egg to come his way. It's who Lane is. Good luck with that slimeball.

Are you guys delusional or just retarded? LSU was never fighting to do anything. LSU said from the beginning they would follow the rules. Thats why the SEC has no grounds to stand on in the federal case and they have no proof of anything. Bitch boy sankey got his arse handed to him by the players lawyer. LSU hasnt sued anyone.... yet.

Why's it so hard for this forum to understand LSU did absolutely nothing through this entire affair. They let the SEC show their asses the entire time. This entire event was because of some LDS inflicted chancellor at Tenn got her snowflake feelings hurt on top of the SEC worried LSU is doing backdoor deals with billionaires cutting the SEC out through Landry. It's none of the SEC's business what LSU does for fundraisers.
The SEC offices were the ones who were aggressive this entire time not LSU. LSU did nothing. They even told them before all this extra aggressiveness on LSU happened they were not rostering the players. Sankey continued to press almost like they were trying to bait LSU into something.
LSU never bite the bait. They stayed quiet. Why should they? Sankey's stupid arse was constantly getting more aggressive which was opening them up to the lawsuits. If anything, Sankey also made the SEC look REALLY dumb in the hearing. He lied under oath, committed perjury, and exposed SEC offices for potential corruption.
They had to be SUPER pissed at that. But again, it had nothing to do with LSU. 0. So they respond with a lawsuit because they were pissed off Sankey got lockered didn't know how to handle it. Explain to me how this is a loss for the LSU again?
If they expelled LSU do you think LSU would ultimately lose here? If you think that, then you don't know laws in this country. the SEC would've got sued hard because they didn't break any rules and they have 0 evidence on their claim with Lane. Only the delusional fans of LSU would consider this a win! The two players are not on the roster!!! What exactly do they think they won? They backed down at the last minute and added two legal players, both injured. These LSU fans are more insane that even I thought.

It's not a win for anyone, and every member institution should be just as alarmed about this as we are. This entire conference will continue to play second fiddle to the B1G as long as Sankey is at the helm.

At the end of the day, these players were being cleared to return to college so Kiffin recruited them, in case they could actually play.
He stated throughout the process that they'd comply with court orders but would ultimately look to the conference for guidance. He also stated that if he didn't sign these players, someone else would. The players admitted to being recruited by multiple programs.
The rest of you completely freaked out, your presidents went nuclear, and the players didn't end up being cleared by the conference.
And now life moves on. I think we did learn that this conference is ran by actual incompetent people, though.

SEC wanted to play 2 players that had been in NFL camps. The rest of the SEC and Sankey didn't want them to. LSU then didn't play them in the first game. The SEC didn't back off. LSU then rostered 2 other players filling out their 105 man roster and giving up on rostering the 2 players that had been with NFL teams.
Am I missing something? Also it seems that LSU was the only party here to give up on anything. What did the rest of the SEC give up?

Yes, you are missing the part where CLK said from the beginning that he wouldn't break any rules, and he was in constant contact with the SEC making sure they were compliant, and you retards were over here losing your minds and making up scenarios in your head that were never going to happen.
