You thought LSU was going to be expelled. You have been hoping for it for over a week. You found out yesterday LSU holds the cards.
It IS true that LSU didn’t roster the players as a sign of good will towards the conference.
That requirement by the conference made zero sense and didn’t reflect what it has done very recently to other members. It was an organized narrative that you swallowed while because you know you won’t be able to even compete with LSU.

This isn’t like SC needing a Spurrier to compete and just being a 3rd tier program otherwise. We wouldn’t flip out having to go try and find a 5th coach to win a NC this century.

Donde Plowman supposedly is heavily involved in trying to move the Protect College Sports Act through Congress. So literally on the eve of the bill being brought to the Senate floor, she elects to threaten extreme, highly public, and capricious action against a founding SEC institution. Surely, she would have realized, or advisors would have advised her, that LSU had some extremely powerful and well-connected allies in Congress. Given that obvious fact, the SEC approach this week was inconceivably stupid and counterproductive.
Now it stands exposed as such.
The SEC conference anticipated there would be a Thursday slapdown. Somehow, the members just didn't realize they would be the ones getting slapped.
It is an episode ranking right up there with Bud Light putting Dylan Mulvaney on its beer cans. When an organization does something that stupid, heads should roll. As the player lawsuits targeting the SEC start coming in and fully illuminating SEC liability, that time of rolling heads may yet come.

Not only is it a win but it’s one of the bigger PR wins that I can remember in my fandom lifetime. Not only do we come out looking like the bad boy identity we thrive off of but much of the national media was coming to our support. We are having our cake and eating it too. Such a great time to be a tiger fan

How is it a loss exactly when they didn't violate any rules or bylaws? SEC opened the lawsuit against LSU, LSU didn't open any lawsuits. Can't be seen as a loss except for those who choose to ignore the facts and just push a narrative to fit their agenda.
