This fan base has lost its collective minds if they call this a win. Your program caved in and fell in line just in the nick of time. To see it any other way is delusional at best and downright Dunning/Kruger thinking. The money spent and the horrible attention didn't make LSU look stronger. It made it look weak caving in. They did what they were "told to do". You guys keep on thinking it was a win. The normal people... well we see it for what it was. It was a Lane attention grab created by a coach who's going to leave you for the first NFL golden egg to come his way. It's who Lane is. Good luck with that slimeball.

I was opposed to the kicker being allowed to join the team, but he was cleared by the SEC ahead of him coming in.

No... different era and the North Carolina schools ran the ACC from the start and still do. It wasn't an "all in" like this situation. It was the North Carolina schools bidding for themselves. This is nothing close. This is an "everyone agreed" then someone changed their position.

Is this really what the LSU fan base wanted? I know we all support our teams but did Lane go too far on this? You guys have a ton of talent through recruiting and the transfer portal and really don't need these players to have a great season. It just seems so dumb and reckless to go this route. If you don't need the headache then why support, it? It is an unnecessary miscalculation of what the end result will bring. If you win... you still lose. It makes no sense.
