Pretty much agree except I don't think Guidry can get us 8 outs and Garcia and Rizy should be available.

Can you ask coherent and thoughtful questions?
Don’t mistake your inability to read texts with others’ ability to ask coherent and thoughtful questions.
A previous poster interjected a question about the centurion in Mt. 8: “. . . wouldn’t it be more polite to invite Jesus into one’s home? . . .” Mt. 8:13, “But the centurion replied, “Lord, I am not worthy to have you come under my roof, but only say the word, and my servant will be healed.”
If Jesus is who the centurion thinks He is, then his house, i.e., “under his roof,” is not worthy to host Jesus. He doesn’t speak on the level of hospitality or manners or decorum, but on the level of moral character. It’s a means of expressing how highly he thinks of the Lord Jesus. In your view, this is allegory. In Matthew’s view, it is the precursor for the centurion’s expression of faith.
BTW, this would be a good line of repentance for you – “I am not worthy.”
A similar sentiment is given in Matthew from John the Baptist who states with respect to Jesus, “. . . whose sandals I am not worthy to carry” (Mt. 3:11). Again, it is not a matter of whether a servant ought to carry his master’s sandals. Of course he should. But John the Baptist frames it in terms of essential being: because of who Jesus is in His person, I am not worthy to perform even the most menial of servant duties. Perhaps one of your scholarly knuckleheads can tell you if the same Greek word is used in both pericopes.
So, was the question “are sandals allegory too” coherent and thoughtful?

Would be cool to give it a name that ties back to the Apollo program.
I think this is the right direction.
IMO, it needs to be linked to the prior generation of moon walkers, and explicitly and offensively American. Maybe something for Columbus, the astronauts who died, von Braun.
ETA: and by all means, acknowledge our Creator - God of the Bible.
Watching STG unfold from afar was encouraging. You did it. One of the success stories. Nothing but props to those who persevered.
Wish it long term success.
IDK how you can insulate it from demographic decay and corruption. Hopefully, some principled people do.

Announced this week that Gateway is out and a moon base is in.
I like Buc-ee's and Bojangles but to be fair I don't eat breakfast biscuits that often.
Who certified the '20 election in GA? Does he want to retract his 'stamp' now?
Would've been nice had CJJ been able to send him to bat instead of Tanner. Oh well. Lot of baseball to be played.
Paul pitched poorly - 2 BBs and HBP. Would get to two strikes and couldn't finish batters.
As for as hits, one bloop single, one swinging bunt single, the bases clearing hit that Cruz miss played, and the ball Cruz lost in the sun.
Moreover, on the bloop single, Cruz made a great throw into 3rd and the 3B did a poor job applying the tag.
He didn't pitch well, but it should've been 1 run.

Does Boasberg know about this?

Legit question cuz I can't remember, did Woodward make O hire a black DC in Daronte Jones because of the 2020 bullshite?
Have not heard that. And FTR, once Ed got canned, Daronte did a good job in '21 and that mostly with 2nd stringers.
Now, Scott needs to include the Pelini hire/buyout and Ed's stoopid buyout to his resume.

Hate when we lose a winnable G3. Long wait until the next game.
There's a Rockin Robin guitar shop in Houston. Guessing they're somehow connected.

Isaacman has been a breath of fresh air for NASA.
IMO, the heavy lifting before him are: 1) purging NASA of DEI and 2) avoiding international entanglement. Else, it's gonna be NATO goes to space.

He made our problems worse, but he didn't start them.
Not much consolation IMO.
And he can be given credit for BLM, stalling NASA, ACA, Obergefell, and I'm probably missing several.
Eric Holder should be included in that graphic.

As an example. Baton Rouge Airport has 844,000 passengers a year. Atlanta has 106 million. Its just a different animal
How many respective TSA agents/lines do they have?
I think the point is that ATL, MSY, and HOU are relatively slower than comparably sized airports.

Secondly, the roof or under one’s roof refers to one’s body. Paul sometimes calls the body one’s temple, or an earthly tent. It’s allegory. Similarly, many earthly Christians even all the way back to the pre-Christian Dead Sea Scrolls community called the body their garments, or clothing. They called what we have a garment of sinful flesh, which is perishable. They believed they would shed their garments of flesh and put on garments of light or of the Lord, which is imperishable.
Are sandals allegory too?

Paul wrote he had the revelation and went to Arabia for 3 years, then went back to Damascus, then went to Jerusalem to meet with Kephas and only saw one other apostle (Iakobon, the Adelphoi of Kyriou). Acts says that Paul went with Barnabas to Jerusalem and met with many apostles and the Jerusalem council immediately after his vision. Just one example to show Acts isn’t history, if you believe Paul’s legitimate letter.
Who are the "many apostles?" Where can we find mention of this "Jerusalem council?" How do we know it was "immediately after his vision?"
