Have you seen LSU’s roster? What did they give up? This was about showing two past players how loyal LK is. This is recruiting gold. That is what LSU won and it will pay dividends for years to come on the recruiting trail. They never actually needed the two players.

The SEC pushed out a policy in the face of a court case, not brought by LSU, that escalated the situation and bought themselves a preliminary injunction.
Then, they sued LSU alleging Kiffin did things that couldn't be resolved by not rostering the players, askin. the court to allow them to kick LSU out and prevent LSU from seeking legal recourse despite legal contracts that would be affected.
Meanwhile, many on here and in the media were openly speculating on who would replace LSU when we were inevitably kicked out.
But, yeah, LSU caused all of this.

You want him to fight air? There is nothing to fight at this point and never will be. When the hysteria of this blows over in a few weeks, the SEC will drop the suit as quietly as possible, hoping most won't notice.

The performance in the Louisiana court case where he couldn't define a professional athlete, and where he didn't know the 5 for 5 rule that he made his rule off of shows his complete incompetence. Right before they asked him about they 5 for 5 rule he stated that they make their rules based off of the NCAA rule but then couldn't explain the NCAA rule. The stupidity here is astonishing.

You are literally inventing a reality that never existed. At NO POINT did LANE or LSU say the would NOT follow the rules.
Its not our fault there is not clear guidance on paying players nowadays and who is or is not eligible.
LSU, and others pursued players the courts said were LEGAL and Stinky Pants Stankey changed the rules last minute, in which, LSU followed.
