re: LSU #1 Overall Seed?

I appreciate the recognition a #1 is. Amd I don’t know the numbers but it seems rare that the #1 wins it all. 2-4 would be nice. I do think if they finish like you say…depending on Texas..there is a shot at #1.

Yes! They get hazy now. I remember that being an awful game. Also a loss to UK.

You think that’s who’s being cut? There is a lot of fat in management in that company.
Still projected at 97 Billion in revenue. The union is pushing those boxes make no mistake about it.

You have to make up “gay” shite when you never win anything. They’re the “let’s make commemorative cups for a regular season win” school.

Theriot got two rings. Doesn’t have the stats.

We called it “hop on my handle bars” or “give me a ride home on your handle bars.”

Do you have a job that requires you to be in person?
I have a job that I’ve been at for along time and have a good bit of vacation. I usually take a chunk of vacation in the summers to be with my children. With that said we will not be taking a family vacation this year because of the extensive travel of both of my children’s team.

I’ve got 2 tournaments this weekend. My husband and I will go our separate ways for the weekend and miss watching one of our kids play.
I empathize completely. So much missed family time as a result.
You’re absolutely spot on about the middle ground part. The Little league Majors teams are very competitive. Because it’s all travel ball players. If they played for 3-4 months in the spring and played 30-40 games we would not even entertain travel ball anymore. It would be great playing games on Tuesday and Thursday nights for a several months and floating weekends together.
My High Schooler is in showcase ball in the summers and we will be split up in different states this summer.
I’m not complaining because it’s what they love to do. As parents we want to fill those cups. It takes a great toll on family time. I get it.

I hate travel ball. However, kids get left behind if they don’t play it and want to play high school ball.
Rec game seasons are 12-15 games and you’d be shocked at the amount of Dads that have never played catch with their kids. It’s also watered down.
I’m on my 2nd kid playing travel ball and I absolutely hate it. The first one is a high school player on a team that will finish with a State Championship if they keep on like they are. There are a couple kids that didn’t play travel ball on the team and they will never see the field. It’s sad. But it is what it is.
I freakin hate weekends at the ball park. It’s not the way baseball is meant to played.

He will be. Player development is part of the process. That development is part of a sports season. These moments will help him be ready for SEC weekends.

Is that 2nd Team All District from 1990 real? I’m just asking because I didn’t use my District nominations nearly as long as I should have.

Queens of the Stone Age at Jimmys. There was some music thing happening in Nola. We just happened to be drinking and were blown away by this band. I believe it was 95 or 96. I don’t even think there was a cover to get in or it was minimal.

I wish my brain could be so calm and concise. This is not sarcasm.
