Isn't that usually how it works with the first party Nintendo games?

I obviously haven't played every game, but I've only seen the "download code" thing (or however they phrase it) on third party releases.

I do think MS is at least trying to provide more value for that price point if they are still going to stick with the "plays both PC and console games" announcement. If it really will play PC games, it's going to be one of the more affordable "plug and play" gaming PC options on the market.

I've seen some rumors that they might be backpedaling on that, but no indication in any public interviews.

Much of the push is from people who want everything you stated to be wrong because it flies in the face of their beliefs that there are no discernible differences between genders. Acknowledging what you stated here is detrimental to their entire belief system.

The "untapped female audience" plays mobile games. If they venture into RPG-style games, it's for the social aspect like WOW. The "modern audience" people just can't seem to understand that group isn't going to be switching over to consoles to play games like GTA 6, fighting games, Final Fantasy-style games, etc.

The most crossover is with Nintendo games like Mario, LoZ, etc, but Nintendo isn't embracing this push at all. Their continued success flies in the face of the mantra of what games companies should be doing to attract the "untapped modern audience."
