Lane was contacted by the players to come to LSU and old piss actually reached out to them. Lane told the players if it fits within the rules then come play. This is according to Deaquan wright when he got interviewed after the louisiana court judge said they could play, but since it didn't fit within the rules from the biased SEC they didn't play or even get rostered.

I've posted multiple quotes from chancellors and presidents across the board. I don't have to prove a negative...not how it works. Their are multiple public statements that indicate unity. I have no reason to doubt as other statements seem to back them up. You are making the claim that these are lies. You get to provide the proof. These are basics of debate taught in grade school. This is already over, the SEC is going to hope it just fades away.
LSU already decided they're not rostering the players, so no rules were broken.
The SEC suing in Federal court is where they really screwed the pooch.
That trial won't happen. They'll be sued by the players and will settle out of court and walk away with their tails tucked.
All 50 states in the United States possess sovereign immunity, meaning they are protected from certain types of lawsuits unless they choose to waive that protection.
I assure you Louisiana will NOT waive that protection in this case. The Louisiana AG has already stated this.
Under this immunity, states (including arms of the state like LSU) cannot be sued in Federal court without the states consent (not happening).
The SEC fricked up. Sorry you guys got all excited.

The decisions of the SEC are going to likely be litigated for some time. I believe it is the NCAAs untimely decision 5/5 that created this mess but the SECs unequal decision on how to manage the NCAAs ruling is the basis of the problem. My guess is those who have an interest in legal process and outcome will enjoy this more than those who are entertained by sports.
