I'd say Brown and Milam are almost for sure gone and Curiel likely as well but he at least still has leverage to stay. Curiel MIGHT come back but I doubt it. He will be only a junior so he can do another year if he wants it.
There's no such thing as a couple year rebuild in portal era.
Also Hankton was a terrible coach and was probably our entire WR problem in BK's tenure outside Nabers/BTJ. Every year it was the same problem with the WRs.
Yup. One of many reasons I hate this portal era and can't wait until it's more under control. Every college athlete should be seen as a professional at this point which includes everything with that.
What's most ironic in the media is nobody was ripping on the other coaches for leaving. One of which completely ravaged his old school's roster in the transfer portal. What did Kiffin do? Get a few guys from Ole Miss.

The only voice in national media that actually was the most levelheaded response on it was the most unlikely in Stephen A. He was 100% right.

Nobody is going to sit there and say LSU is not a major step up for almost any HC with the opportunity. Nor does anyone have a right to tell this man what's best for him and his family.

Ole Miss used the national media to try to trap Kiffin at that job when he obviously coveted LSU much more. Scorned ex-psychotic gf vibes with how they treated him especially fan base. He's going to make them an example and you don't want a genius offensive mind like Kiffin mad. It won't be for lack of gameplan if LSU loses that game.
Kiffin is going to put his best effort on the season in this game. I have a feeling he's really pissed and wants to make an example out of this game. Everyone paints him the villain but contrary to what media will report, Ole Miss did not handle this well at all which made him look much worse than it needed to be.
Looked like a pretty good team to me yesterday. Barreled balls up well and had a stout defense. Couldn't hit anything in gaps on them with as much ground as the outfield covered. Going to give someone's regional problems.
Just needs to make it to postseason and his bat will get much better.
Unless they get much better not very high. They're not a good baseball team right now and this is one of the worst teams defensively I've seen in awhile. Partly the pitching struggles are related to this.

Some numbers are way inflated in pitchers because of how bad defense is. They know this in back of their minds and press more. This is why you seeing so many mental collapses from pitchers or they just struggle mentally.

They could easily get much better and make a run. Right now though, if it ended today, yeah, no. We wouldn't host a regional and might not make it out of a regional.
all 4 runs that inning on mistakes
ump definitely didn't help there got out of the way late and dar misjudged it
Noot has regressed hard this year he was pretty good especially second half last year.
Man that looked way uglier than he showed. Thankfully he's moving around fine but man that looked season ending.
Explains why on Bide's last HR that was a grand slam he didn't

1. move

2. even look at the ball leave the park he just knew

3. his neck was already in serious pain
I agree with this. Jay fits LSU like a glove and is the closest we'll ever get to Skip. It's a tradition at LSU and does profits at times. It's inexcusable to not give him whatever he wants to keep LSU at the top of the baseball world.

Anyways, my perspective on this is there's a distinction between revenue share and NIL. Revenue share matters less if you're heavily supported by NIL endorsements which I fully suspect LSU would have no problem reinforcing for baseball. I just find this very hard to believe.
Jay always has the magic talk when he pulls his guys to the side he had the magic eject today. They fed off that energy.
He has been hitting balls hard just to people this past week. I have a feeling we going to be posting a lot of "what can Brown do for you" soon.
I like how in his grand slam hit the outfielder just stood there like he was pouting knowing it was a no doubter. :rotflmao:
Tenn got owned in their own little league park. They brag about this crap ballpark for years leading country in HRs. LSU goes over there one weekend and drags their nuts all over it and then sets a record. :rotflmao:
