I saw he was looking to go back to LSU on a second trip with his family but I'm not sure if that's still in play after LSU snagged Ross. He was suppose to visit here again after USCe. My guess is he's out but we'll see.

Ross was an All-SEC freshman.
Pickett had a bad game and the LBs an even worse game against Houston. this is why I'm surprised I haven't seen LSU make more moves towards LB. With Weeks injury history and Keys/Singleton not showing they're "there" yet despite some nice things. They need another good LB on the roster.

Peoples can mold anything raw as well. We got some great DL coaches I expect this unit to be the strength on LSU's team next year.
He's probably getting more money than a 1st and 2nd rounder right now at Ole Miss based on the 4 million+ figure. He has every incentive to return if they grant him another year.
They do: His name is Woodland. Did you forget about his play all season? LSU made him and Pickett a priority to re-sign.
Most of their stars already re-signed. I don't see much movement at all.
He won't be a sexy pick for many but he honestly looks like a potential homerun on highlights. It's not just LSU who wants him either. A lot of big colleges are trying to get him as a suitor.
This is why LSU didn't target him as #1. His brother is a known sleazeball agent and LSU was concerned with it. This probably checks out what the OP is saying because it's pretty well known his brother is the problem. They were concerned about this before he even came. This is why Kiffin looked drained and the last part of the visit fell to pieces then LSU moved away from them.
No, I'm suggesting we get Clark no matter what with the potential he's a homerun. The big money goes to an established experienced starter. Deuce Knight and Longstreet are developmental projects at best. The upside you get is they'll be multi-year players. We need a 1 year or more rental that you know will be a winner. LSU's schedule is too hard to guarantee big money to a guy like Knight next year when he's still rough around the edges. Maybe it clicks next year for him who knows, but it's very high risk.

Tamper rosters for an established starter. Shouldn't be too difficult when promising 5 million to come play in a LK offense.

Is this confirmed or just social media chatter? I have a hard time believing LSU can't get a starting QB with lots of experience for the reported money we're throwing around. I'd take Knight over Longstreet because he has more experience. Longstreet barely played. You're probably looking at a 4-5 loss season in a development year with either of these guys. LSU's schedule is brutal. They need an experienced starter like Leavitt.

I hope we snag Clark because he looks legit on film. The biggest is can he make the jump to the next level? If he can he'd be pretty exciting.
Why would we take this guy with the money LSU is throwing around? He doesn't have the experience for us to win next year. If LSU is dropping 5-6 million on a QB they need someone who can win now not a maybe developmental guy with high upside in Longstreet.
Did Deuce Alexander re-sign? Because we were reportedly targeting him as well.
Would he? Based on the reported ridiculous deal he got maybe he used LSU as leverage because LSU reportedly had a bigger offer on the table.
2 of their 5 starters are done and I'm pretty sure I saw the other 3 re-signed with Ole Miss. I would think that leaves the depth open for poaching though if we want them.
He'd probably make more at Ole MIss than the NFL this coming season. I wouldn't blame him for staying.
Might get surprised with some LSU guys headed their way instead. I'd like their OL and their WRs.

LSU needs another elite RB. Berry hasn't proved he can carry the load. Are we targeting anymore RBs? We need someone we know is a workhorse.
Beck sucks dude. I don't think Georgia fans care. He lost Miami their only games this year. He threw like 5 ints in one game. He should've lost this game on the last drive with that pass that should've been INT. If I'm DC in NC I point to him on film and make him beat you with his arm. He's way too inconsistent to be trusted. They have mostly shelled up with him because their defense has been so good. He did good on the last drive other than the missed INT that would've ended the game.
SEC sucks arse. Still hasn't even sniffed a NC in the modern era of playoff NCAA.
Beck sucks arse. Don't care what anyone says. Miami's loses this year are squarely on his shoulders and on that last drive he should've threw the game sealing INT. He got super lucky. They're going to force Beck to win the game and they will lose the NC game.
That was a very egregious call they missed earlier in the game. Refs were pretty garbage all night.
