The governing money institutions are the ones messing everything up because they've made so much money over the decades they fear losing that sense of control over the sport. It's like any other system that degrades and erodes over time. This is a last gasp effort to keep the hand in the cookie jar because the SEC knows super conferences are coming which might exclude SEC as an entity anymore.

You can't see the implications for this? No wonder Sankey has driven the SEC into the ground the past 10 years or so. You have fans like you who can't see how terrible he is for the conference and put us second behind B10 thanks to his efforts. Say thank you to one of your founding members for exposing him today that will likely get him fired that's long overdue.

SEC fans are so united in their hate against LSU they can't even see the justice LSU just did for the conference. We're going to be the reason Sankey gets fired and it has been about 10 years overdue at this point. Not sure how any SEC fans can be satisfied with his effort since Slive passed it on. One of the founding members had to set everything straight since Sankey sure couldn't.

Which is ironic because the players were suing NCAA and not SEC. If anything, it does look like that and it puts SEC up liable for lawsuits if LSU wants to get dirty with them.
I don't know how Sankey still has a job. He has opened a big can of worms on lawsuits multiple times in the past week. It's all on who wants to act on them and if LSU feels threatened enough to do it.

I said in another thread but lawyers are the worst thing to happen to NCAA. The NCAA can't take a piss without the lawyers suing. If anyone has made out since NIL started it's lawyers.

Sankey better be worried he doesn't end up in prison considering how terrible he was today. He flat out lied under oath saying he never heard of 5 for 5 which is direct perjury and illegal. That guy should be fired ASAP as he has opened the entire SEC up to so many lawsuits it's crazy.

The fact people let the NCAA drain them for $$$ for decades and death penalty schools with no actual authority over is hilarious. I'm wondering how SMU feels now that they let NCAA death penalty them when all they had to do was seek a judge.
