Only the delusional fans of LSU would consider this a win! The two players are not on the roster!!! What exactly do they think they won?
today is the 11th and hopefully it is more clear to you what has happened. sankey and the sec are getting ready to get sued by thise 2 players and perhaps many others. sankey is likely to get canned. and don't forget the judge in baton rough whos orders sankey didn't follow. he'll probably pay for that. lastly, it's not that LSU really needed those 2 players (see Clemson game). they were close to lane kiffin. they have a great lawyer and they will make bank; more than LSU was going to pay them and it will be a tax free settlement.
i'm not going to call you delusional but you sure don't seem to be able to see the reality of this situation.

It all boils down to one thing…… all these other schools fan bases on here know what’s coming.
Obv they’ll never admit it. They watched Saturday night. I don’t give a shite who we were playing. They saw what’s coming for them.

If you stop looking at LSU’s position as trying to sign Tom Brady to win at all costs, and simply signing players that courts deemed available to fill roster depth like any other program would…
The SEC’s behavior suddenly looks horrific for the future of all 16 teams financially. Effectively making moves to prevent member institutions from improving level of play within the established rule set, while also demanding draconian sanctions to do so. Just pretend it was your school being hit with the death penalty for signing a backup, strip away the rest of the noise. Would you want the guys responsible for that in charge of all of our futures? Sankey should see himself out, along with any of the Presidents who pushed for this mess.

ain't over yet mac. sankey is going to lose his job and the SEC will lose what i'd call big bucks when the pay those 2 players and their legal fees. and the rest of those players (about 40) are smelling blood and the SEC may be paying them as well. and yes, LSU gave up those 2 players; does it look to you that we needed them? 5 for 5 was completely in the wrong by not considering guys in that category and now the SEC has spit in their face. it may get ugly for the SEC. sankey will be long gone when this ends. LSU is not the loser here; it's the SEC. you just haven't thought it out (and i'm giving you the benefit of the doubt on your level of intelligence)

Are you guys delusional or just retarded? LSU was never fighting to do anything
Lane was campaigning and putting things in place to recruit those players. That's why Sanky came down on him. Not that hard to understand.
I've posted quotes on here several times explaining it in theads, but you LSU fans have made 500 threads on this topic this week.

The LSU athletic program is ran so well that they don’t even need conference affiliation to win football game
we will have absolutely no problem finding a new conference. we won't have a short term problem with the shortfall of revenues because the SEC Will lose the mega suit our lawyers will put on them.
it's reallly sad that a charter member and one of the largest money maker in the SEC moves to another conference. and if the SEC doesn't find better leadership LSU won't be the only program that will leave (or get kicked out) in the future. greg sankey will be the death of a once proud conference that USED TO BE the best in the country.

Your team is in MS, taking the “we’re more intelligent” route is a choice.
