Not trolling, who will TAMU hire that will do a better job than Sumlin?

The fact that Banks is the interim HC should answer this for you.

Of the current coaching staff, the ONLY coach I would retain right now is Banks. Turner(x2), Price, and Banks should have the opportunity to interview with the new coach. The rest can GTFO, especially Moorehead.

He provided a much needed splash when a&m joined the SEC, but I don't really think he left much of an improvement as much as a dumpster fire.

I don't agree that he did. he inherited a hell of a lot better offense than he left. as far as the defense goes it may be better but not that much.

you can't give him credit for the improvement in facilities.

sumlin is what he is; a good coach that just couldn't get y'all over the hump. 7 or 8 wins a year was good enough for MSU but should not have been satisfactory for y'all. I do tip my hat to y'all for giving him sufficient time to succeed.

I think Morris is a legitimate candidate. Jimbo is a long shot but if y'all land him that would be huge.

His one super successful year at the right time built that stadium. And he didn’t let the program sink completely back into shite after that. The next guy has a good starting point and I appreciate that.

IMHO Kingsbury at OC was key to Sumlin's success at UH and aTm.

He never had enough defense for the SEC. His greatest win came because we softened up Bama the week before.

And Johnny Football was a maniac.

Seems odd to fire a coach with his record, but I guess we will see how it works out. If they hire Jimbo, then it was likely a good move.

Fisher is using TAMU as leverage to get better facilities and more money from FSU. TAMU is getting played here. And the winner of this game is Jimbo Fisher and Jimmy Sexton.

I thought that too until I saw the since 2014 split posted earlier.

Make millions a year, can't have more than 1 or 2 bad ones (relative to expectations).
