I'm not trying to trash talk but y'all the best team in the sec who won like two straight sec championship in a row.How did you guys not won at least one playoff game?

You must be top in your class at tu.
I wouldn’t send my kid to OM, but saying there isn’t anything to do, is absurd.

Of course, I’m a sports fan, so there isn’t a school in the SEC where I would be bored. Football, basketball, baseball, softball, etc. Find an intramural sports team.

Ok, so you aren’t into sports. Find an academic club. Volunteer. Find a church home. Or, get a job a one of those overpriced boutiques or cafe’s in the square.

Do something!

Go to Memphis or Nashville on the weekend and take in some music. Go visit Rowan Oak (as mentioned), Vicksburg, drive the Natchez Trace Parkway.

Granted, I bag on OM all the time for being a school for people that are looking for an extra four years of high school and not really a serious education. But Oxford is a nice town and has a lot going for it.

But saying there’s nothing to do? She just described every school in the SEC, B1G, XII, and most in the ACC sans a few urban schools.

Perhaps she should check out Lubbock, Stillwater, or Blacksburg.

Why would anyone go to OM if they weren’t in the Greek system? It’s not like OM is known for academics.
Under the current format, it becomes pointless. And in reality, the SEC doesn’t even need to crown a champion if the playoff is expanded to 16 teams.

Personally, I think the playoff is too big. Go back to 4 teams. The four champions get an auto-bid, and the top 2 get byes. Make it mean something to win the SEC.

But what do I know?

There. FIFY.
It is really scary when LSU loses at home, at night to their biggest rival.

Watching the A&M/OU games, what a terrible park they have in Norman! It’s looks like a high school stadium, with an all plastic field. OU needs a total rebuild of that abortion.

The SEC should mandate that all baseball, softball, football, and soccer fields be a natural surface.

What tu has at all their fake fields is embarrassing for a school of their wealth.
The only mistake A&M made was not leaving with y’all in ‘92. The SEC has been a perfect fit for A&M. It feels like we’ve been here all along, especially with all our main rivals here now. Just wish Arky would have been one of our perms, and not Missouri.
Some of yall need to quit bitching. A ten team SEC isn’t coming back. This conference thrived in all three rounds of expansion and kept its identity as being a Southern powerhouse. While Missouri and Texas are two schools that may not be culturally southern, A&M definitely is and OU fits nicely as well. All of our states are continuous, and have great fan bases.

I think the lack of regionality is what will eventually hurt the B1G. The travel times of the four schools on the west coast is ridiculous, and hard to foster regional rivalries. College athletics always was, and always will be about regional rivalries. We corner the market on that, and it’s what makes our conference generate interest.

Just relax. The SEC will be more than fine. We’re gonna own this shite!
Didn’t need to add tu and OU. But your boy Sankey….

LSU played hard at home against their biggest rival. It sure does suck to get swept.
No one is angry, but you. Don’t confuse facts with anger.

All-time series LSU leads, 32–25–3 your 2 game win streak has pulled you to within 7. congrats. now that you're in the SEC and understand the schedule, when we backed out in the 90's, it was because we were adding more SEC games, but pound your chest, and print your cups for winning absolutely nothing in forever!

I wasn’t talking about the past, I was talking about the here and now. But since you brought up the past, let me freshen up your memory on why you pussies canceled the series, twice!

From 1960 to 1975 we played y’all every year in Baton Rouge. Every fricking year. You lost to us in 1974 and then got your arse thoroughly kicked in 1975, 39-8. Y’all had enough of Bellard’s wishbone, and we were telling you that we were going home and home when the third decks opened. Your candy arse wanted no part of that. So you canceled the series on your most important rival. Pussies.

You finally found enough tampons to stop the bleeding and renewed with us in 1986, home and home, as it should be. You beat us 4 out of the first 5 games. Then we pounded that Tiger arse, winning the next 5 handily including 45-7 and 24-0 at Kyle. For 4 years you only scored 7 points at Kyle Field. Your biggest rival was embarrassing you again. You wanted no part of it. So after the 1995 game you welshed out. Refused to pay us a nominal cancellation fee (because that game was going to continue to infinity, as rivalries do).

So spare me the “SEC was going to 8 games bullshite.” Other SEC schools continued to play their OOC rivals. You cowered out of your annual game with your biggest rival. We were going to the XII and playing 8 conference games just like you were. So spare us that lie.

We beat your arse so bad at home this year that you had to fire your coach, and your governor had to fire your AD. Your biggest rival is in your heads, living rent free, 24/7!

Fact is that LSU will try to cancel their annual rivalry game with us again any time we have a winning streak. But this time the SEC is going to tell you to pound sand and put in a tampon. You will play your biggest rival.
When we whip that tiger arse in Red Stick again this year, LSU will be trying to welsh out and cancel the series with A&M and puss out on being permanent rivals. Just like they did in 1977 and 1995! Yellow bellied kitties.
