Old team experienced mobile qb with a deep ball, wr with elite speed that can get downfield, should have solid dline. Serious depth questions(who doesnt these days) on the roster and a lotta questions on online(really poor last year). If the oline figures it out they’ll push for a playoff spot. If the oline is bad….the deep ball becomes obsolete, defenses stack the box and they probably struggle to make a bowl.

South Carolina is a joke, and every year we go through this nonsense for some inexplicable reason with their program.

with lanoris sellers back again im a little suprised there isnt a little more hype for them.

Sellers actually reminds me of Vince Young...A Vince Young with little to no talent around him.

The schedule is very favorable to them. They somehow drew Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, and MSU, all of which they should be favored against. They get a talented but rebuilding Alabama early, and Tennessee will be rebuilding on offense. Clemson seems to be going down the wrong path. GA, OU, and A&M are probably losses but there's a path to 10-2 or 9-3 if the stars align. They've had A&M's number the last two years. I'm not really a Sellers NFL believer but I think Kendal Briles could get production out of most QBs.

So sure, there's an unlikely path to 10-2 which would likely earn a playoff berth. 8-4/7-5 is probably where I would put them. If they lose to MSU in September, the wheels will probably fall off and Beamer is probably done.

Absolutely. Better chance than Florida or some of these other teams that are mentioned.

Sellers is good for 4-5 complete no show performances a year. He can also win a game on his own.

Hes the most high ceiling low floor SEC QB in recent memory.

Sellers got figured out last year

Sellers got put into a system that he was not suited for and the rest of the team did not have the talent to execute.

One O-lineman starter returning to team. O-line will have 0 offensive starts as a unit together and Ourlads web site has transfers for SC 5 O-line starters. I can understand the lack of hype.

This is probably a good thing. They had the worst OL in the conference last year. Made LSU’s look not terrible

Biggest problem for South Carolina is depth. They need to stay healthy for sure and try and close out games in the 4th qtr. DL is legit.

I like Briles, and think that should help Sellers a lot.

but South Carolina always seems able to frick things up.

I would say the same for Lame Kiffin.

This is, somehow, an understatement.

Not sure Briles is all that great, he has bounced around quite a bit
