Downvote away but Woodland was really bad against OM (graded a 51.5) and the defensive backfield was giving the underneath route up at will in the first half--combine that with little pressure on QB and we got spanked in the first half.
2nd half we started getting more pressure on QB and turned the game around. But, we have issues at CB for sure, hopefully they improve soon.
OL on the interior is a concern for SEC play.

How many of those yards did the QB have. We were owned at the line especially OL.
QB had 63 yards with little help from OL. So we had a little over 100 yards rushing by our backs.
Just look at the time OM QB had to throw compared to SL that tells the story.

He is a decent not great passer problem was he was looking to run to soon. Needed to throw some down field and move the DB’s and LB’s back some. If we would have played 1st half offensively like 2nd half we would have won.
TG better learn how to cut away from straight on tackles or get lower or he is not going to be playing football long. Great straight ahead speed and good hands but an easy target to get squared up on when running with the ball.

Exactly OM was twice as good on both OL and DL.

DL and OL play OM was just better. It was disappointing!
DB’s played too soft in first half gave up to much space. Also Sam ran to much early OM was playing 8 and 9 within 5 yards of LOS. Changed up both in 2nd half.

OM averaged a little over 8 pass plays over 15 yards per game last year. Louisville was dead even with them until OM was able to stretch the field in 2nd half. We limit them to 6 of less and I have to think we stand a good chance.
Don't think OM is going to drive the ball with any regularity on this defense.
Think we win by 10 or more if we can have a good red zone offense.

Too early to know for sure but OL play has got to improve, WR's need more separation and limit the big plays for OM. Louisville was tit for tat until they started giving up the big pass plays--can't let that happen.
We get a running game from the RB and we are VERY difficult to beat.

Louisville kept OM offense in check but couldn’t stop the big plays. OM wins if QB makes a number of big plays don’t think they can drive down the field on that defense. LSU wins if they have any kind of ground game with RB’s and limit big plays by OM. Gonna be a good one.

Hope that’s the case but 2 games so far and a few were there to be had. I’m impressed by our Defense don’t get me wrong but got to avoid the missed assignments and long ball.

Defense is much improved but still concerned we will give up to many big plays.

This is true about last year but our defense is MUCH improved. Don’t give up big plays we win, easier said than done!

Straight up I think Tigers win by 7 but you never know who is gonna give up BIG plays. That is what we need to avoid.
Somebody got to lose, either fan base is going to take this L hard. But, it’s because both fan bases have got a passion for CFB something the Gators struggle with.
