How about you get the Texas senators to introduce the legislation? According to your logic, LSU and Louisiana are responsible to cause all changes, and everyone else is to benefit.

I know this seems like a crazy notion, but I truly believe that if the SEC doesn’t drop this deal and de-escalate the situation, it’ll mark the beginning of the end for the SEC. LSU can recover. The SEC will have to file bankruptcy following class action verdicts. Seriously, this is not far fetched.

It's only worth the trouble for one reason.... the preservation of college football. Louisiana is the only state stepping up to cause wholesale NCAA changes / clear rules. The NCAA is too spineless to make real rules, rather just jumps from litigation to litigation and makes rules along the way. The only definitive rule set by the NCAA in recent history is 5 for 5. This 2022 class matter is over after this year. Now, they need to address the coach availability for discussion of new jobs and NIL cap issues. After that, all this monkey business will be over. The SEC should not be shouldering the NCAA's burden.

If the SEC wants to expel LSU and/or LSU elects to withdraw after this year, it'll be a shame, as the only party to benefit from such action will be LSU. The SEC will lose money and credibility whether it expels LSU or LSU elects to seek membership in a different conference.

I think we will see an announcement from LSU before terribly long that it’s considering resigning from the SEC and moving conferences. Every team in the SEC will suffer from LSU no longer being a member.

I’m not completely sure LSU is not trying to get tossed so it can become a free agent team. I think the Big 12 and ACC will put big money on the table for LSU to join.

You started off appearing somewhat intelligent and then proved you couldn’t keep up the facade for long.

Kiffin doesn’t like this scenario. He’s first trying to succeed, but a close second is that he’s trying to change the game. This era needs so many restrictions - eligibility limitations, NIL cap, etc. - that only the extremes will force the NCAA to institute proper parameters. Kiffin is actively pushing the limits so that limits will be created in response.
