You should be concerned. Georgia Republicans are some of the dumbest voters on the planet. They love to pretend Georgia is a conservative state based off of nothing more than their feelings lol they will still claim it after Georgia has a Democrat governor and two Democrat senators.

Not even remotely true, the South was disadvantaged at every conceivable metric from equipment to bullets, shoes, horses, and even feeding the troops. People greatly underestimate how difficult a task Lee had not completely dissimilar to the predicament Washington found himself in for the first half of the Revolution and the South’s issues got exponentially worse from outset whereas Washington’s position greatly improved with the arrival of the French.

Are you suggesting the post office couldn’t back date mail received after Election Day especially in the usual areas where known fraud takes place?

All of those things could have been accomplished without NIL and the transfer portal

You do realize a generation is 20 years boy wonder? Just because you were 12 in 72 doesn’t mean the rest of your generation was. I am fine if you want to lump in some from the tail end of the Greatest Generation who had nothing to do with WW2. You people were given a golden parachute and you decided to rip a hole in it with a machete

It isn’t a “leftist” narrative to know what Vietnam era did to this nation. It isn’t hyperbole to suggest the 60’s and 70’s all but destroyed the nation. JFK assassination through Watergate destroyed Americans trust in government, Vietnam destroyed their trust in the military, Great Society has nearly destroyed black culture, and your inability to vote for anyone who remotely suggests reforming SS has bankrupted the nation. There hasn’t been a more damaging generation

Net Zero was a convenient excuse to limit energy production due to their crumbling infrastructure and lack of investment. They don’t have the capacity to heat and cool their urban populations without overwhelming their grids but they are too arrogant to admit their socialist policies have largely failed

You’re a boomer? Makes sense now, carry on but your generation took a giant shite on the nation from JFK through Jimmy Carter. You are largely to blame for all the ills facing the nation
re: Who in here started out as a Lefty, then became more right wing over time?
Posted by Rip Torner on 6/28/26 at 7:38 pm to stuntman
Wouldn’t say I was ever a Leftist that takes a mental disorder or cognitive dissonance but I did vote for Bill Clinton in 96’ and McCain in 08’. Those are definitely two votes I wish I had back, I stayed home 20’, not too proud of that one either

It’s like Ancient Greece and Rome. They were so masculine and cosmopolitan that they couldn’t help but sleep with adolescent boys with other manly men to express their overall “manliness”.
re: A reminder of the Republican Party before Trump
Posted by Rip Torner on 6/28/26 at 7:08 pm to Lsujacket66
We haven’t accomplished anything of value or significance other than winning the White House. John Thune and the other major Republicans don’t support Trump and never have. The minute he leaves office nearly everything Trump has done will be undone with the gleeful support of Thune and several others
re: How many on this board are Democrats and what is your opinion of the Socialists?

That’s because you don’t know anything about it or you would fear it and that is the issue with the US electorate as a whole, completely ignorant on the very issues that impact their lives. Don’t give me the “muh social security and Medicare are are examples of socialism” idiotic argument. That argument falls flat because both programs are already largely unaffordable and widely abused now multiply those two government program monstrosities and apply it to every part of your daily life then you might begin to understand why they don’t work

Of course Iran was “deceived” lol no sane individuals with an ounce of integrity could ever truly negotiate with them

Wish casting again? Now we are hyping up qualifiers, they were shut out by both opponents in the actual WC. The US has had some pretty embarrassing qualifying matches and some unbelievable ones, zero baring on tonight’s game

Turkey made very few set runs offensively especially in the second half. There is no excuse for that last goal unless you have been overworked throughout the match, definitely not the case for the defense; very sloppy

Which would be a great outcome for the US squad not having to face a European squad yet

LOL you think your opinions validate your soccer IQ. On paper is irrelevant in international soccer and it’s precisely why we are traditionally a middle of the pack, solid team. We have had several “great” players on paper and it has translated to nothing during the only tournament that matters. Turkey being given a good chance of winning the pool is more of a reflection of the pool they are in and not of Turkey as a squad. The US will not make any kind of a run with no depth no matter how much you wish cast

IF we get that far AND beat Belgium then yes absolutely! IF we fall to Belgium which is likely then it’s rinse and repeat for this squad
