You could have 1% interest rates if we cut spending and ran a balanced budget. Meddling with interest rates isn’t going to solve 30 trillion in debt because that is the real driver of inflation in the US not interest rates

the Fed yet you expect them to use the same said policies to correct it? That’s cute! The current inflationary pressures are from energy prices. The only thing raising rates would do is increase credit card interest rates and drive up mortgage rates for already struggling buyers. It wouldn’t do a thing to core inflation prices. I am glad you aren’t in charge of monetary policy
