Penn St firing Franklin to then hire Drink would become pure art if we hire Franklin who goes on to win some big games here for us.

If we had the Rock M this year we’d be 9-0.

Nobody got a worse deal in conference remodel than them. They got their talent and coaches picked over like nothing ever seen and were left in oblivion.

LSU is pure grit and gumbo - we will fire you and figure it out later.
Impressive.

This would be believable if we didn’t have eyeballs and see all of his 0-6 streak games. In almost all of them he has had the horses and has mismanaged the game into oblivion.
The second a call goes against us he pouts like a toddler and the team does the same. He is irrationally aggressive at the wrong times and irrationally conservative at others in almost every big game.
There’s no consistency. Saturday Hardy begins the game ripping A&M and then they run another jet sweep. It’s classic Drink era.

My assessment of the vibe:
•We universally want to keep Drink.
•We realize that the state of the program as a whole makes this job very appealing for a lot of candidates:
1. Our facilities are top 25.
2. Our recruiting base is top 25.
3. Our NIL is top 15.
4. Our curator willingness to give power to a competent head coach is top 10.
5. Our willingness to pay is top 5 (allegedly $12.5 per for Drink).
That’s a competitive program in any era. So nobody wants to lose but there isn’t a sky is falling vibe.

OU has done it countless times. Even with A&M have more resources, mental edge is priceless.

My man. We got to go 4-0…with a true fresh QB…with the same OC who can’t help but call 10 QB running plays a game…while our legit NFL back decoys for the white kid to run and get crushed.
ND is the least of our troubles.

Your harder schedule year is still easier than a standard SEC slate. Congratulations.
As long as humans are the committee mega brands going to get the nod.
Cheer up! Our OC will call a QB run in the first series which will get him injured like it did Bazelak, Cook, Horn and Pribula.
The fact that he interviewed for the Arkansas job shows yall Hogs need to clean house if that’s your decision makers.

I guarantee one thing - the way that butt kicking ended last year with y’all putting the starters back in to preserve the shut out will fuel Drink to irrational pettiness ala “We stand on buisness” Drink pulled on Tennessee when we won.
Drink is at his best when he is at his pettiest.

2004 LSU lost its coach to the Dolphins.
2025 LSU lost its lead candidate to the Dolphins.
2046 y’all late going to lose someone

NIL has allowed us to close the gap on talent. We are closing the gap on facilities.
Our QBs keep getting hurt because of our boarder line mentally challenged commitment to the read option. Bazelak, Cook, Horn, Pribula - all 4 starters sacrificed on called QB runs.

If they do they will go from the greatest cultural fit of all time in Ed O to back to back comically bad cultural fits for a program. All time.
Sankey if a fool if he doesn’t demand more playoff spots than the garbage 10.
Because Vegas knows our 3rd string true freshman QB is actually our most talented of them all. No joke. The kid is the truth.
Additionally it might make our mentally challenged OC hand the ball to Hardy at least 20x.

re: Who would take Beamer

Beamer is now experiencing the second side of the double-edged sword kid a 2nd gen professional.
Side 1 - lots of opportunities quickly given because of connections.
Side 2 - if they aren’t humbly received and performed there will be no mercy.
The dude acted like a know it all and a massive crybaby when he experienced adversity. SC fans are going to kick him out earlier than others.

For DOUBLE his present pay I think he could swing the 90 minute flight to Houston to see the grandkids as much as he’d like.
Sark…but one a coach considers NFL, they gone.
