He even said he underestimated the conference difficulty
Sure that’d be fine if he was moving from another conference to the sec or even if he underestimated say the acc or big 12 after being in the sec. The sec has been the premier baseball conference since the mid 90s at least. And he isn’t that far removed from a stint at a sec school before taking the usce job. The only thing he underestimated was how much his age took a toll on him since he retired.

Don't be too hard on them. They're still hungover from losing their Super Bowl at home last weekend to Kentucky.

I’ve only lived in coastal areas but as far as the sc coast is concerned osu might be the majority now. Browns and steeler bars are all over the place. The bungles have a bigger following than Clemson or South Carolina at my local bar.

UCLA is the red headed step child of LA. Everything is usc first in that city. As long as they have a winning record no ones losing any jobs. That’s the standard at ucla. It’s also why they’ll never be great at football.

I really miss big east football in the early 90s. It had a great college feel. Pitt wvu vtech Syracuse and bc all hated each other and Miami. They used to pack those stadiums. The old carrier dome when it was packed out with 50k sounded incredibly loud on the tv. John swofford should be tarred and feathered for what he did to the acc and the big east.

When I lived in myrtle beach area way more gamecocks number 2 probably osu then Clemson, Hilton head area appears to be more Clemson then osu then usce. Edit uga might have the most fans in the jasport Beaufort county area

other than I would put OU in there over clemson just based on playoff appearances and title games where clemson only has advantage in NCs 2 to 1
Clemson only trails bama in playoff appearances, won two, played for two others. Also Dabo skulled fricked top ten Oklahoma in 2013 and again in the 1st round of the playoffs in 15. Ou absolutely shouldn’t be above Clemson since 2000

And Burrow is still the GOAT college QB hands down
Fantastic season but no, defense was way too mediocre to compete with other champs, in the playoffs they drew a an abysmal ou team that only got there through playing a soft(even by big 12 standards) schedule and got to play a banged up clemson team(from an equally unimpressive acc) with backups from the previous year. Great season tho

Gibbs was not a 5 star. And nobody recruited him outside of GT until he blew up his junior year.
He wasn’t a five star, thought he was, but he definitely was recruited by other schools than gt, bama lsu and Florida all offered, amongst others

Michigan was in the CWS final in 2019
