You may think semantics work in the legal system, but they often don't. A judge can and likely would rule that the effect of the SEC policy is they are declaring a player ineligible.

I maintain my stance.
I hate that LSU is at the forefront of this but if the end result is the current system crashing to the ground then STTDB. full steam ahead.

OK, so theyre forcing their way onto rosters. What's stopping a coach from sitting them on the bench? You can "transfer" but it's going to be media suicide for a team to actually play these guys.

Judge Martin Hoffman is a democrat who received his law degree from the University of Texas. Like the Baton Rouge judge he is up for reelection this fall.
These rulings are more about politics than anything. They appeal to low IQ voters.

This is why LSU is the ISIS of the SEC. They will gladly blow themselves up.

1. SEC is not saying a player can’t play. They can. The school will be fined and punishment handed out as stated.
2. Do you think the 15 other SEC schools don’t have a plethora of top ranked lawyers and politicians? Yes, they do.
3. Any expense of defending itself by any actions taken by LSU the conference will withhold monies from LSU.
4. Kiffin will be suspended. Etc etc.
Go for it Tigers. Make the SEC’s day!
