SEC is the trying to close the door that the NCAA couldn't keep closed. This is just theatric.
Also, LSU voted with the rest of the SEC knowing this will be overturned. 3-d chess here.
Injunctions happen pretty quick and this WILL be settled before the first whistle blows.
Ole Miss and other dumb fans, just try to keep up.

You're wrong here. At this point I doubt you see much action from these players' lawyers outside of some twitter posts. Even LSU approved the statement yesterday. So I suspect the president of LSU told Lane directly or indirectly to cut out the BS.
The players really do not have a remedy against the SEC for the SEC's decision to apply its internal governance procedures to members who, in the discretion of the commissioner, are harming the league.
Arguing that the SEC is covered by the existing injunction is laughable. I question whether the court would even have jurisdiction over the SEC (especially as the players bringing the TRO would need to prove they have standing in a lawsuit on the merits against the SEC for the SEC applying its bylaws to members).
Texas Tech and Sorsby had very, very good lawyers. Who were smart enough to know that the Big 12 absolutely had the power to punish Tech under their bylaws if they decided to play Sorsby. They disappeared like a fart in the wind once the Big 12 played its trump card.

Give it up man. The SEC can enforce their own rules. These players won’t suit up for LSU.

It is settled.
The 3-D chess vote places LSU in the lawsuit crosshairs potentially as much as any party. They invited these players to play and then voted for a rule that precluded it.
The players' lawyers are likely to start there when looking for a party that truly affected possible opportunities and earnings.

Law of the land? One thing the majority of Americans have learned over the past 15-20 years is the "Law of the Land" is kaput when power and money are at stake.....there's your law of the land.
