NFL considering a new “Super League”

quote:
BREAKING: NFL considering a new “Super League” to serve as a feeder system for college players who aren't ready to give up on their NFL dreams.
According to reports allegedly coming from NFL officials, the league would function as part of a completely new football pyramid modeled after the English soccer system — with the NFL at the top and the new Super League operating much like the Championship beneath the English Premier League.
The idea: Players who finish college but aren't quite NFL-ready — or players who simply want another year or two to develop — could join the Super League, get paid, play against grown men, and continue building film for NFL scouts.
NFL teams would reportedly be able to monitor the league closely and sign standout players who prove they're ready for the next level.
But here's where things get REALLY interesting... ??
Several major European cities are reportedly already looking into establishing their own Super League franchises. London, Paris, Berlin, Madrid and Frankfurt are among the cities rumored to have shown interest in hosting teams.
The long-term plan being discussed would reportedly include promotion and relegation.
Yes... PROMOTION AND RELEGATION. ??
Under the proposed system:
?? NFL = Top Division
?? Promotion / ?? Relegation
?? NFL Super League = Developmental Division
?? Promotion / ?? Relegation
?? College Football = Player Development Pipeline
The craziest part? International Super League teams could supposedly earn promotion into the actual NFL by winning their way up the table.
Imagine the Kansas City Chiefs getting relegated while the London Monarchs earn promotion to the NFL. ??
An NFL official reportedly described the concept as creating a "true global football pyramid" that would give players more opportunities to develop while expanding the game internationally.
So basically... the NFL looked at English soccer and said:
"You know what? Let's copy the whole damn thing."
Do Ole Miss fans have LSU Derangement Syndrome?
Posted by DatGuy6967 on 8/26/26 at 12:52 pm
Sure seems that way. They are 100% allowing Lane Kiffin and his tan lines to live rent free in their heads. He wanted two ex-players that were eligible and will be pretty soon to play one year for him again, and the lunatics lost their mind.
The SEC is not above the NCAA and surely not above the law of the land

SEC is the trying to close the door that the NCAA couldn't keep closed. This is just theatric.
Also, LSU voted with the rest of the SEC knowing this will be overturned. 3-d chess here.
Injunctions happen pretty quick and this WILL be settled before the first whistle blows.
Ole Miss and other dumb fans, just try to keep up.
I mean just look at the one sidedness here below:
