Wouldn't mind scheduling a viewing, maybe even making an offer :pimp:
The kid's a moron for sure, he's stepping over dollars to get to pennies but isn't smart enough to realize it.

Imagine hitting the genetic lottery but you only got $25k out of it. He could've been set for life just by showing up to practice. I wonder what other jobs he'll find that pay $25k a month

re: How the frick you lose to Türkiye????

We lost to a team that previously had not scored a goal.

I would say your point is wimpier than Pepi :dunno:
USA was not going to get greedy in this game.

Turkey was very talented but dysfunctional this cup. They've had 3 weeks now to gel & finally looked the way looked in qualifying. They had 62 shots before this game.

They also played the USA B team, a completely swapped out back line, and a team playing for the win instead of parking the bus. Even Spain struggles to score against a parked bus.

And afterwards OP "fell pregnant"

I don't mind how it played out at all other than being extremely disappointed in how easily we gave up those goals. Was some 5 year old pee-wee between the legs stuff on all of their goals.

Lol I played RB in high school & that first Turkish goal reminded me of the first goal I ever gave up. Just really bad defense and smart passing that the defense failed to read. The last goal was even worse, 4 on 1 & they still score. And of course the ref blew time right away

Why though?

This was why, I don't necessarily agree, but can understand the logic that it means more for us doing it the 1st time vs. a perennial stud like Germany.

It was just my opinion that a 3rd win would have been more beneficial for our momentum than it would be for established teams thta have "been there done that".

Personally, I think Poch made the grown man decision & played who needed to be played. Our B team held serve with a talented Euro side (Turkey's had several extra weeks to gel now too) while still clearly looking like the B team & now we have tons of growth opportunities on film to keep the guys hungry.

he's going to send out tweets about it

Would you prefer Trump just decree everything from on high??
Instead of tweeting about for a while and giving people time to voice their critiques?

“active cooling” should only ever be allowed when all other means of “passive cooling”, such as opening windows or using fans, have been exhausted.

It's a fooking record heat wave and the British twat government thinks people haven't already exhausted everything

This is completely tone-deaf & patronizong as hell to the citizens. It's like going up to a depressed person & saying "have you tried being happier bro"

Hundreds of tenants packed the theater at El Museo del Barrio, singing and chanting about tenant power

I understand that there are shitty landlords out there & there is a need for tenant's protections. This ain't it.

This is a horde of economically ignorant people overwhelming your vote and leaving you to clean up the mess. It's going to destroy what little market value & integrity in NYC still exist, the same way it did SF.

You make an investment, try to do things the right way, and a bunch of bozos show up to ruin it. :dope:

It’s impossible to overstate the absence of Robinson/Ream/Richards/Adams.

So many times Turkey's passes were just outsmarting our defenders & out hustling every contested ball. Those guys showed why they're the B team.

Good news (goal be darned) is that we got to face adversity & battle back in an ultimately meaningless game. They just put a lot of defense on tape & can spend this week studying & sharpening things
Lmao when the ball hit Pepi he drew his hand back so fast like the ball was lava

Weah was horrible. Reyna was bad and just lazy.

If you need to forget this game take a shot each time Tim Weah is offsides

They were booing the ref for calling the half while we were attacking.

He blew the whistle exactly at the +6 minute mark. Berhalter was right in the middle of a throw

Edit: man like 3 other people had this exact same comment. No wonder the boos were so loud

Speaking of UGA running backs, Keith Marshall has always felt overlooked imo. Injuries ruined him, but people forget his insane talent...he ran a 4.31 40 at 220lbs and was rated way higher than Gurley.

I would be very skeptical about CS right now. Was just talking to someone who's son has been looking for work for over 6 months now. He did internships and has applied to tons of jobs, but no luck.
He has an MSCS, cum laude, from GA Tech.

I know OP said Texas has a great CS program but I can't imagine it being much better than that. Id try to combine your son's degree with some sort of fundamental industry - healthcare, agriculture, supply chain logistics etc. and learn to integrate the 2 skillsets.

If he wants to learn business without spending the time for a full-blown degree, simply understanding a financial calculator (or the excel functions like rate & NPV) and accounting terms will put him way ahead. Add a basic macro/macroeconomics textbook and he'll be 90% of the way to a business degree without having to take the bullshite marketing & management psychology classes

I'm not one for checking phones but have you ever seen HER phone OP? A lot of times people are paranoid because they're the ones cheating & they project.
Man I dont know if Kim was busting knuckles or something but Kanye acts he has CTE. It's honestly sad to see. He had solid music 10-15 years ago but he's been a fully-fledged citizen of Crazytown for a while now.
