re: Josh Pearson appreciation thread

He had a great Freshman season, a HR in the CWS title game, and has been probably our most clutch hitter for years now.

Shores looks great as a closer

His slider also looks the best I've ever seen it
I can't believe he just rolled through the lineup like that
I watched him against the JUCO I played for last year. He pitched at Pot State, a pretty respected JUCO program close to were I grew up. He got hit a lot at that level and I didn't realize he transferred to WVU.

He's a good drag hunter but I still can't stand when he does that. It takes the bat out of his hand in hitter's counts.

What is going on with Dickinson?

He looks like a different guy this series... is he moping about being dropped from the top 4 in the lineup?

He should've been standing on 2B after that 10 second fly out.
He's been arse this series.

Pretty good JUCO player...
It's not easy there for a true Freshman with limited appearances, but he looked unphased.
I'd didn't realize that... I figured he wouldn't throw for another day or 2
My bad. Where was the other guy from?
It's insane that he has gotten us 2 high level infielders for next year from Holy Cross and Kansas State all while we're in the postseason. The guy's a master in the portal.
I've wanted to see this lineup all season.

It's hard to set Braswell because his defense, but it's a hard to sit Pearson because of his hitting and clutch ability... though his numbers might not back it up.
This team doesn't have much energy, to be honest. Evans breathes a ton of life with his performance and his energy.

It's just sad that none of the vets really do that (at least position players).

It was down to even money for a minute... I almost took it.
Just like Arkansas brags about all their CWS titles.... oh wait

Eyanson, Anderson, and Evans

These guys were DOGS and carried us.

Some other guys HAVE TO step it up and pull their weight going forward!

The results from Shores, Noot, and Cowan among others was completely unacceptable and they should all be ashamed that we had to use Eyanson the way we did to finish this out vs. Arkansas Little Rock!
The book is out in him. I thought this was a bad time to start him because he's a below average sized righty who lives in the low 90s, w/o an elite curve and relies heavily on the changeup.

He's probably what ALR has seen most of the season.
