Is he expected to be out part of next season? I figured he'd be close to fully recovered by mid to late fall.
The disparity between 247 and On3 is wild sometimes... maybe one side hasn't put in the same film and scouting time as the other site on certain players, but still.
247 has him ranked as the #5 Safety and On3 has him as the 116th Safety and a 3 star.

Seaton will have a 93 rating and be the #4 overall Tackle.
Where's your little bro?

This team would've won pretty easily this year.
I'd put the 2023 LSU team up against anyone. It had the best college pitcher and arguably baseball player of all time, who was an important automatic win in a best of 3 series. Our #2 starter was a 1st round pick.
That team had the best top to bottom offense I've seen in college baseball as well. Crews was so good that there was a real discussion teams were having about picking him #1 over Skenes. The lineup also had Tanks, along with a ton of veteran firepower l. Most of the lineup hit near or over .300 and we had like 12+ guys reach double figures in HRs.

Not sure why we're not a finalist. We were the favorite.
ATM is in the lead for him the same reason they are for 1/4 of the five stars in this class....$$$. It's the sole reason they're getting blue chip out of state recruits.

The biggest thing for me is the characters in the show. I hate all these frickers, don't like a single one and wish the dragons would roast them all
A lot of what he's done is obviously shady or evil, but I cant help but pull for Daemon, despite knowing what happens in the book.
Rhaenera and Aliciant don't move the needle for the show.
2 of the 3 dragon seeds are sort of interesting right now. They're interesting as no one has ever went from non royalty to a dragon rider and formidable fighters in such a short time. They don't really owe anyone true loyalty IMO because they weren't wanted until they were needed. Their next moves will matter.

They are the daughters of Daemon.
The Sea Snake's biological kids still in the area, though considered illegitimate, are actually pretty formidable. One is a dragon rider with a decent head on his shoulders and the other is a strong navy officer.
His film's pretty good. The best thing I noticed were his hands and how he used his body to block the DB out and make plays. He had nice moves to get off the line of scrimmage.
He likes the double moves for a deep ball and the DBs were expecting it, making hooks and curls effective.
He got early separation in most of his routes.

Yep. How long will it be before MLB teams take over the NIL for certain programs & just use them as farm clubs?
It would be interesting but I don't see how they can control where those players go. The Yankees could've supported LSU in 2023 but then watch Skenes still go to the Pirates and Crews to the Nats.

Their class ranking is indicative of this fact. They’re pulling 5 star kids out of Florida and Georgia that have no interest in anything A&M related other than the pile of cash waiting on them.
Exactly what they did in 2022.
If they continue doing this and are able to retain a lot of the recruits through their NIL, it's going to make them very formidable. I don't love it.

I don't mind a crowded RB room. It gives the HC and OC more legroom with the running game when they're not worried about depth there. It's a tough position where injuries happen along with wear and tear.
I'm holding out hope that he'll have a good year and get some draft attention. He was promising as a Freshman.

It's hard to say. On3 had Smith as a IOL, but I think he'll end up at Tackle. I actually think Adams is a Guard, so I think the goal would probably be to get him and Simeon.

It felt like everyone on the roster had one in 2023.

Looks like a primary DH type which we don’t need. Of he can play a solid first then maybe and then Braun can compete there and OF. Other than that I don’t see the need
This scenario could be interesting, but I think it would take a high level slugger to make that move. BIG 10 stats may not translate that well to the SEC.
If he was batting .350+ or had 20+ HRs, I'd be for it. Otherwise, I don't think it's worth a drop in speed in the lineup.

Can they sue to get the cash back?
It's pretty dumb to pay it up front IMO. Ultimately, I think they could but it would look bad, even for them.
He was paid to provide a service, which he didn't provide. Was he forthcoming about his addiction? Probably not.
Tech basically paved the way for him to still play and provide the services he was paid for, but then he backed out it. His argument would be that the pending litigation was too much or that he "needed to step away for treatment" I'd imagine.
To me, to even get draft consideration or any favorable public perception, he needs to return the money to Tech and return any profits he made from gambling.
Props to the Big 12

Also, Sorsby deserves a bit of credit for ultimately agreeing to forgo his final collegiate season, even if his hand was forced.
I think now would be a good time for any other QBs ruled ineligible by the NCAA for the 2026 season to act with some integrity... especially if they're only basis for eligibility lies with an injunction ruled by a state judge who is a former alum.

We need this guy in the class.
He would be my #1 on the board if I was Lane. You win titles in the trenches and we have to take advantage of having a 5 star OL in our backyard.
