My favorite non-Longhorn athlete of all-time. Wish him the best of luck with his political ambitions.

Out of the 2 from that era I take Bo over Herschel. Best in my lifetime is a pickem between Cam Newton and Joe Burrow.

Bo 1A and Hershel 1B for me. I think both have grown into great people that does lots of good for others. I wish I could vote in GA.

Bo is the best pure athlete maybe in sports history, however Herschel is a better football player IMO

Perfect example of how the media manipulates people and has for decades. Bo knows ad campaign which was awesome by the way. The greatest players win national championships or put their team in position to win Natty's.

Tell me about that time Bo put his entire team on his back and won a National Championship?

Um a national championship? I won many Super Bowls off the back of Bo Jackson in Techmo bowl. Could you do that with Herschel?

The greatest players elevate their teams, but in an 11 man sport, 1 man can't carry a team for an entire season by himself, nor can they be blamed for weaknesses from other positions. The best player in Georgia basketball history never made a final 4, but Georgia did so the year after he left.

By the way I agree with the OP that Herschel is #1, but Bo is great also. Bo is a natural, Herschel had to work at it. I admire both.

Tell me about that time Bo was an Olympian or that time Bo won a professional MMA fight.

For the record, I think Bo would be a hell of a bobsleigh crewman or MMA fighter, but he has never done it.

Greatest player in South Carolina history fumbled the game away in Athens in 1980, and was out gained by a freshman RB from UGA who led his team to a Natty.

Auburn could not beat Texas at Auburn in 1983, but yet the Dawgs go to Dallas and beat Texas in Cotton Bowl 10-9 and kept the Horns from winning a Natty. Auburn folks like to say they were robbed of the Natty in 1983 when they could not score a TD against a shitty Michigan team in the Sugar Bowl.

As a college running back Herschel is the Goat.

Ditto on wishing him luck on his Senate run.

This subject is visited yearly and arguments for each.
With relation on the type of man each turned out to be....the records/actions speak for themselves.
Didn't Walker graduated 1% in his class at UGA? He is an embarrassment as a politician in the state of Georgia.
This will stir you guys up.

Herschel's the goat, but the D was outstanding that season, special teams too. Woerner could do it all (jmho)
