No complaints. Great time to buy!!

I can’t imagine rooting for the country you live in to fail.

The biggest thing would be meaningful election integrity before it’s too late.

Brian Higgins. Wow!

That's more MAGA country than probably any in the entire US.

I really hope he can work out a cease fire, but Z wants to continue to "get paid" and this war puts him in alignment with the EU and the globalist regimes. He is not ending this war unless he gets paid a handsome severance. That is the only way this war ends.

re: Oil Price Question

It's kind of a double edged sword.
Liberal administrations, block progress, leases, etc. and thus not much additional supply drives up the price.
Conservative administrations come in with high prices, but open up projects, etc. and more supply with a steady demand drives the price down.
The last year of a liberal admin and the first year of a conservative admin when the parties in power switch are when it gets busy.
We work on the exploration side. Seismic surveys, title research, independent consulting, etc.. To answer your question simply and anecdotal, our phone stops ringing when the price drops below $60/bbl.
I'm sure other's here have additional input related to what they do in the industry.
Good detailed info. Thank you. Other good information on other comments from others too.
I have always thought about the back and forth in a liberal admin and a conservative admin that wants to drill. It has to be exhausting trying to outguess that and have a 10 year plan for a company that deals in oil.
Oil Price Question
Posted by Runner1 on 3/17/25 at 9:08 am
I know a lot of you are in the oil industry. My question is how low does oil prices per barrel have to go before it hurts the US oil companies? It seems if it were to get really low it hurts us here in the US. Full disclosure, I know next to nothing about this, but I want to do two things. 1. Be energy independent here in the US and 2. Have decent gas prices.
I know there seems to be refinery shortages and that would help on gas prices.
Would some of you oil people shed a little light on what the Trump Admin can do to make both #1 and #2 come to fruition?

How long before these paid protests are just noise that nobody pays any attention to?
re: Sergey Lavrov. Russian Foreign minister questions being able to deal with USA

Looking at it from his perspective I would feel the same way. I don’t condone things that have been done but in 4 years another “Biden” could come in and they would have to bend the knee to the globalist regimes in Europe.

I remember on Mad Men, the character Roger Sterling calling is son a “little rich bastard”. It was a term of endearment though.

You must think it's best to outsource our products to the rest of the world while you "work" your government job.
A large portion of the country cares about the longevity of the country. The tariffs will work but you can't jeopardize companies that have stayed alive.

My company has remained in the US and one of only two that is in the same industry we are in. Others moved to Mexico for cheaper labor. We have remained here fighting all the labor cost and the high medical insurance for several years now.
I am full MAGA so don’t take this the wrong way what I’m about to say. We buy raw products from companies inside the US and we are fully Made in the US, but now the tariffs are driving up raw products here. My point is companies that moved to Mexico are not paying the tariffs we are indirectly paying due to higher steel and aluminum. Now the 25% tariff for Mexico has been postponed making it even less expensive for a company that moved to Mexico to skirt higher skilled labor.
We are being punished by keeping the company in the US. Unless something is done soon this will have a major adverse effect on a Made in the US company.
Hammer Mexico with the 25% or drop the others.

I think you’re right. They would love to unleash another pandemic. If they could figure out how to do it where it targets conservatives I think they would.

I don’t even like most of Trumps theatrics much less the stupidity of the left. This is cringe.
The left is all about this and it will be the death of the party if they keep it up.
Issues. Results. Performance for the people. That’s what it’s about. This reminds me of all the performances of nurses and doctors during Covid.

What I picked up.
1. Ready to play now... Simpson... He's the layup shot on a short par 4 where you think you might be able to reach the green if you swell up on your drive. The sensible choice.
2. Mack... Mack reminds him of Penix a lot. Good thing probably. He's the project with good upside.
3. Russell... I think he's in love with Russell. He does view him as making mistakes but recovering well. Has the most upside but may be too early to give the reins to him just yet.
