The big difference is, where. I mean that is a good record at Mizzou, but not at LSU. I mean...it is not that hard to know LSU expects more.

I 100% agree. However, they extended him and gave him a raise!

Drinkwitz now makes more a year than BK ever did.

Oh never. OP says Missouri is just smarter and financially more responsible than everyone! :rotflmao:

Just like deflecting that y'all are either too broke to fire a coach who has only finished inside the top 25 twice in his 6 seasons or that y'all accept finishing in the top 25 every 3 years.
Eli Drinkwitz since 2022: 35-17
Brian Kelly since 2022: 34-14

One was fired for being mediocre. The other still has a job because his school is either too broke to fire him or accepts their place in the world.
It won’t change the hype and anticipation.
LSU/Florida and Alabama/Tennessee playing every year usually knocked one of the teams out. Auburn/UGA only happened once in 2017.
Pretty sure the NFL and NBA teams in Louisiana could kick the shite out of the ones in Mississippi and Alabama!!! :nana:

Missouri and Drinkwitz's ability to win big games in the SEC.

Yeah man no shite.

Thank God instant replay was not a thing then because Doucet did not maintain possession of the ball through the ground.

100% Also the ball Jamarcus threw here is just ridiculous. Special arm talent. If his head matched the talent he could have been a fantastic pro.

Offseason: Feel Good Wins For Your Team

I’m talking when team/fanbase was going through something and a team win took everyone’s mind off of that for a while.

For LSU my nomination is Jamarcus to Doucet at Arizona State after Katrina. We were in a living hell at the time but the game provided a distraction for a little while that gave us a chance to feel “normal”.
Someone gonna be placed in quarantine for reading this thread.

David Pollack hangs out in buildings named after this guy.
Within 5 years of the SEC- Big 10 Challenge LSU will still have never played Michigan. It’s impossible to get that matchup even with the 350 bowl tie ins we’ve had over the years.
Ehhhhh…….Yall just extended DeBoer for absolutely no reason and will be paying him upwards of $60 million in the near future.

I agree with all the responses. NOLA is one of the best food cities in America and every thing is close. You can walk a few hundred feet and go from one top notch place to another.
The championship game they started playing 15 years ago that they refused to do until pressured by the SEC?

Meh you’d take 1,939 dicks at once to be able to live through a season like that.

What exactly has he done to make him "legendary"

He had Mississippi State ranked as the #1 team in the country at one point this century.

Thats legendary shite.

Why are LSU fans so damn insecure? It would be funny if it wasn’t so sad.

Calling an opinion that said Auburn is the best team with a new coach a little iffy when their win total is 6.5 with several teams with new coaches are ahead in that regard makes me insecure?

Seems more like calling a hot take a hot take. I don’t believe Auburn is a better team than Ole Miss or LSU.

Coming from a fan of a team who also has a new coach and is ranked 16th in the Vegas odds…..

Yeah man Auburn is the best team in 2026 with a new coach.

Absolutely. 100%.

05 is what it is with Texas and USC going wire to wire 1-2.

06-07 back to back.

Then add another 17 years and factor how many we win.
