We agree, so many things are more important than arm strength. I am not prepared to give up on Philo yet, partially because he is probably our best option.

Most Gators fans other than me would have expected us to be 3-2 or at best 4-1 at this point so let's stay positive. There is work to do, coaches get paid big money to make changes and win games. I am still optimistic that they will get it done. Go Gators! 11-1 is still possible.

Not to beat a dead horse or to make excuses. Lagway had talent. He was injured most of his time at UF. I believe he was lazy to some extent and not the leader or competitor a QB needs to be. And the biggest reason for his failure at UF was that he was poorly coached!

I don't believe any of us thought Philo was a QB that could just go out on his own and win football games. He is a game manager, knows the system, usually gets us into the right formation and play then typically gets the ball to the right player. There is not a better QB at this point on the team, after all is said and done, Jones and Griffin may have higher ceilings but Philo is the best we have right now. If he wasn't, I am certain that he wouldn't be playing.

Bottom line Mizzou is not as good as Ole Miss or probably not Auburn. Simmons isn’t as good as Chambis or he would still be at Ole Miss. if the Gators play their game, minimize penalties and turnovers and we should win. Go Gators.

Gator fans??? The Football team is 4-0 ranked #8 in the AP after years of suckage. The basketball team is projected #1 in the nation and the best we can do it fight among ourselves. Enjoy the ride. Go Gators.
