I was 16 in 1980 when UGA won. Close but no cigar in 2002, 2007, 2012, 2017. The 1980 jokes made us a fan base that privately believed we were cursed.

Was not keeping Ohio State ranked ahead of FSU leading up to championship week. Knowing that Texas, Alabama, and even Florida State would jump an idle OSU after the championship games if they won. The precedent would have been set a week prior. If Alabama and Texas go on and lose then FSU gets the 4...
