WCA,

and of course that doesnt extend to 2005

Well, they played and lost the last game of that season. It was decided on the field, Texas won, USC lost. That simple.

The beauty of the playoff, though, is that a LSU '03 or '07 won't happen again.

The danger with the playoff is if you have a 2008 season again. Alabama, Texas, Oklahoma, USC, Florida, Penn State, and Texas Tech all with 1 loss and an unbeaten Utah and Boise State. That 2008 season was just unbelievably great.

But that same reasoning doesn't extend to the 2003 team? Interesting

You did nothing but make up stuff and deny known facts in this thread. I think everybody got tired of playing with you and went to bed.

But feel free to keep hanging out here seeking affirmation from A&M

A&M hasn't finished higher than 5th in the SEC or the Big 12 since 1998. The best season A&M has had since the depression resulted in a top-5 finish, but also just a 5th place SEC finish (behind Alabama, Florida, LSU and Georgia) and that was with the best player in the history of your school.

All of that and still better than Texas, how the mighty have fallen. Please let us know when you get closer to one hundred yards on offense versus your next SEC team. Arky whupped your arse. A&M beat Arky. This year A&M will end ranked higher than yall yet again.

Why wouldn't an LSU 2003 happen?

Oklahoma was the LEAST deserving of the 3 teams in question, having been blown out by 4 touchdowns in their conference title game.

The title game should have been LSU vs. USC that year.

Ain't got no time to read all these here pages, but am I correct in assuming it's filled mostly with inaccurate statements from tu fans about a university they no longer care about, involving a conference they aren't jealous of?

Enjoy the "big 12"
I'd be more concerned with Baylor & TCU tbh. You're going to have to beat them if you ever want to win your conference....it's just unfortunate winning said conference doesn't mean you'll make the playoffs. Lulz.

Speaking of Big 12 Amateur Hour, Baylor was just told that their stadium was too small to host high school playoff games by the UIL.

And add to that how the BIG fricked itself out of getting a team in the playoff because of their dumbass co-champions even though their motto is 'one true champion' and the BIG12 lost even more money.

They did change the rule about co-champions last week or so.

While A&M is hemming and hawing, the Pac 10 doesn’t want to take Baylor – a religious fundamentalist school in an ocean of white wine liberals ain’t going to fly – so the Pac 10 offers Colorado and the Buffs jump on it.

Colorado was planning to join the Pac 10 BEFORE any of the Texas or Oklahoma schools were offered.

The hilarious thing is that both fan bases really believe they were wanted by the SEC as if Mike Slive woke up one day with a hard on for two schools that haven’t won a conference title since 1998.

When the SEC was considering expansion in 1991 to 12 schools A&M was one of six schools in consideration. It was SWC bottom feeders Baylor and Texas Tech that stopped that move (they would stop the move again once the SWC collapsed, which ended up creating the forced marriage called the Big 12 Conference).

If Beebs was just another alumni/fired coach, nobody would care. But he was a member of your BoT, which means his opinion cares significantly more weight than that of an alum/fired coach.

Now you can't even get names straight (or titles either). It was Gene Stallings who was the Regent (and former A&M AND Alabama coach) that was the big proponent of an SEC move.

Well, I read most of them and while I enjoyed watching the Texas cripple fight, the tsipper actually provided links to back his shite up while aggies did not.

While I'm glad to have A&M in the league, I still have to smh at the fricking Texans.

I cannot fathom what schools like Oklahoma and Oklahoma State must feel toward Texass as UT has cost the rest of the Big 12 so much revenue.

I can tell you that all the old Big 12 north teams/fans have some serious Stockholm Syndrome. They will tell you that the Big 12 is better off without A&M and Mizzou. They will also tell you that the Big 12 is one of the best positioned conferences and that they will make more money than us because they 'only have to share the money 10 ways.' I'm not sure if they actually believe themselves, but it's a bizarre phenomenon. It has to be a result of a) pure jealousy and b) the realization that if the Big 12 crumbles, some of them won't land on their feet.

Doesn't matter how many novels you write, or what insults you throw, or how many times you try to revise history, you arrogant, scum-sucking, tea-sipping, parasitic jackass. Missouri and A&M fans lived through this, and know what really happened.

On the part of Missouri fans, we regretted ever letting you cow-tippers into the Big 8. We should have known better. The fact that we actively wanted to leave the conference we had been part of for decades, and the teams we had played for 100+ years should tell you something. Rather than being the fat chick at prom? More like the abused spouse who had enough and came for your boy parts with a butcher knife.

In retrospect, I'd say this move has turned out quite well for us, and we are well-pleased with our new home. One of the good things about it is that you're not in it. And never will be.

Now, get out of here with that BS.
