It's the same old bullshite narrative and talking points all tu people still cling to. It's tired, it's sad and really just noise at this point. They are starting to see the Forrest not just the trees and feel the need to run us down to make themselves feel better now that they see just how bad their arrogance and elitest actions have come back to rest on their porch to help them sip tea.

Nobody in the game says no to a $300mill deal that gives you your own network. Nobody. Aggy got so butt hurt about it that your President fired your AD and forced the SEC move.
And let's be blunt, it ain't like A&M was deserving of an invite. Forget your total lack of history, just focus on the last 30 or so years. You have 1 top-5 football finish (2012), 1 win in Omaha and 1 sweet 16 in basketball.
A&M hasn't finished higher than 5th in the SEC or the Big 12 since 1998. The best season A&M has had since the depression resulted in a top-5 finish, but also just a 5th place SEC finish (behind Alabama, Florida, LSU and Georgia) and that was with the best player in the history of your school.
If being a mid-table team in the SEC is more palatable and profitable for Aggy, then you made the right decision. But you were an also-ran in the Big 12, you've been mediocre in the SEC and nothing on the horizon indicates any coming change.
But hey, at least you're not Mizzou!

USC was the best team in America in 2003, just like they were the best team in America in 2004. They were not the best team in America in 2005, however.
2007 was the single worst season of college football since BYU won the title in 1984. A two loss team can never be called "champion", especially when one of those losses was the last regular season game of the season at home. Hell, the Ohio State team they played lost home to Illinois!

We didn't go crazy.
Dr. Loftin had been relieved of his administrative duties at TAMU, was going back into the classroom, and was lined up to earn a pretty nice parting package.
Mizzou came calling, after he'd been let go.
We wished him nothing but the best there--and continue to do so.

If you say it happened, then I guess it did. Good news is that the accuracy of our whiskey bottle throwers matched that of Branndon Stewart and Randy McCown. Nobody was in any danger from that group.

USC lost two games from 2003-2005, one to Aaron Rodgers and Cal in OT and the other to Texas by 3 points. USC was unbelievable in that time period and would have had their way with either OU or LSU in 2003. Didn't we get a glimpse of that in 2004 when USC dominated OU in the title game?
