80% of Bama’s wins against #1 ranked opponents happened during Saban’s peak. That was a completely different era of college football and doesn’t mean much today.

Incorrect. You are a stupid student of football. 63% of Bama's wins vs. #1 were during Saban's tenure at Alabama.

One was in '77, one in '78, and one in '92. Are you are retarded person or do you really think 63% is the same as 80%?
