People being on their phones in theaters has always been a thing since the early 2010s when the first generations of iPhones started to become more affordable and accessible to the public. This isn’t new.

The real problem is that the current market for movies is dominated by either high budget superhero films or extremely low budget horror films. There’s very little variety in genres compared to what was available to watch 10 to 20 years ago. And that’s turning people away from going to the theater now. The traditional mid-budget film was destroyed when streaming was introduced and now theaters are suffering because of it.

What the frick was that? You couldn’t even get a good look of the interior of what a tornado looks like.

All of the political analysts on X are saying that the current trends are shifting heavily towards the Democratic Party winning the 2028 POTUS election.

How much of these posts are bullshite? Are some of them legit? I have a hard time believing that people swill swing to the extreme opposite and vote for a party that has made it their priority to infringe on the constitutional rights of law abiding citizens.

LA is probably one of the most superficial, soul-less, and shallow cities in the entire country. I say that as someone who’s visited it multiple times. The amount of plastic surgery clinics I saw as well as the amount of women who had butt implants, boob implants, and Botox was unbelievable. A lifestyle like that can easily do someone’s head in, especially with someone like Britney who didn’t come from a lot of money.

I read somewhere that GTA 6 will be estimated to have $1 billion alone in pre-order sales, not even including the post-launch sales. It was a good story but my god, the digital camera shots were just awful to watch. It’s a huge problem with 95% of Hollywood films that come out now.

Digital shooting makes movies look like insurance commercials now. The lighting is so bright that there’s no shadows behind characters at all. They don’t have the rich, thick, and grainy backgrounds that 35 mm movies had. 35 mm film shots look like paintings.

Digital just makes movies unwatchable now and I’m fricking sick of it.
