Well… Colorado certainly won’t have a problem with toxic masculinity on their football team.

1. Bama 2349
2. ND 2116
3. OU 2051
4. Ohio St 2030
5. Texas 1877
6. USC 1866
7. Michigan 1783

Nebraska is an outlier, but it’s not surprising that 7 out of the 8 historic “Blue Bloods” also top this list.

I will say this. It’s very strange how often you mention A&M being “gay”.

It’s exceedingly rare that I disparage Texas A&M University. Exceedingly rare.

I will talk trash to those ags on this board if they deserve to be called out for stupidity. Otherwise I just try to keep it light and, at least to myself, humorous.

If you have not noticed the way I post, and how I respond to posts, and think I’m some kind of empty shite talker…

What’s the definition of “gay” here?

OR…

Can’t speak to the second definition. However, the first…

So basically 1/4 of the Florida’s team is getting arrested every year?

Math says about 20 per year on average over 26 years. You would think that would make the news.

Seems a bit like BS. If not…

Florida, WTF??? Slow it down kid.

Incredible deflections.

Asking about your last #1 class, and suggesting that your current class might have closer results with Texas, in a thread about your bragging about your current #1 class, is a deflection?

That sounds kinda gay. But that’s cool. there is plenty of gay to go around between our two beloved Universities.

For better or worse, we just have to laugh at ourselves.

Hey, just wondering how your last #1 class is looking? Y’all had something like 8 five star guys in 2022.

Sure, they haven’t beaten Texas. And they certainly aren’t favored again this year. Maybe all that 2027 recruiting will have closer results against Texas in the future.
Texas @ Vols. The fact that these two teams have never met in the regular season at any point in their history is a travesty.

I’m not going to list any other Texas games, it’s too obvious.

OU @ Georgia. If OU has indeed improved on Offense, this is where we find out.

LSU @ Ol’ Miss. How could you not?

Georgia @ Alabama. It’s Georgia-Alabama

Florida @ Auburn. Interesting matchup considering all the changes.

Dude… No.

The best thing for the sec is status quo

I think the format of sixteen teams playing three permanent rivals and six teams in yearly rotation makes a ton of sense.

But that only works if the B1G stands pat as well.

There are two universities out there that would move the needle when it comes to network contracts. ND and Miami.

Miami pulls eyeballs in NYC, you cannot ignore that fact. ND pulls from everywhere. You REALLY cannot ignore that fact. If the B1G gets one, or worse, both… That would truly put the SEC behind the eight ball financially.

I really need Jimmy Sexton to negotiate my work contract.

We lost probably our best RB yesterday, AK Dear. We are loaded with 5* at RB… but they’re all young. We’ll see how much it affects us, as we have to run the ball this year.

The losses we suffered at running back during the ‘24 fall camp affected us for two seasons. Small thing compared to the sadness knowing that CJ Baxter will never be what he was.

Was the call reversed?

I’ve even thought about adding Miami just to keep the big 10 out of Florida but does recruiting matter as much as it did ten years ago?

You don’t add Miami because of recruiting.

You have to add Miami because they move the needle in New York City. Allowing the B1G to capture the NYC television market when they already have Chicagoland and Los Angeles would be a bad thing for the SEC come contract time.

Will ND get in at 10-2 over a 9-3 SEC team this season?

ND would be in under any scenario at 10-2 this year. You think the networks would allow that ratings bonanza to be left out two years in a row?

I was stunned the networks didn’t force the issue with the committee last year.
Of course not Rodo, it’s not like we play yall every week. Right?

And Bet heavy on OU v Michigan. Whittingham is a good coach, but he doesn’t have the roster.

Slow that roll on the Michigan game. It’s certainly no slam dunk for OU. Whittingham isn’t simply a good head coach, he’s probably the best hire of the offseason. Michigan has talent and they are at home. The game will very well be worth watching.
