I guess you could look at it that way. I view them more equivalent to portal guys based on age and experience above high school.

I thing your logic is sound in terms of how you view them. But if you are talking a portal class ranking, usually they don’t include players who have not played college basketball. Perhaps in a composite ranking. But generally they are included as recruits.

We scored 8 runs. That’s should be enough. I know that was frustrating to watch us strike out when we needed it. But that really isn’t close to the main issue.

Host a Super next year or kick rocks?

Well, you did put a question mark. I’m going to assume no, but I have no, but I have no say in the situation. I’m sure Jay will straighten it out.
You are a consistent person. Which is a very underrated quality in society today. I would assume the lack of outfield warmup between innings is related to the 2 minute clock. But I don’t know why they don’t anymore.

What are the players not doing that they should be doing that implies “going through the motions”
Dave van horn has hosted 11 regionals in 22 years, Corbin has 10 in the same time, O’Sullivan has hosted 12 I think since 2008. Maybe we should get them.
None of those guys would be portal guys though right? They would be recruits.

Well, more importantly, you don’t pass on first round money when you can get it

Love Jay and want him still, but he needs to keep that mouth shut going forward

What does this mean?
It would be stupid to stay if he’s drafted in the 1st round

This baseball season is every bit as bad as the 3 win basketball team meaning bottom 3 in SEC

It’s really not. It’s bad, but it’s not that bad.

re: Yeskie pitching approach

Looks like Yeskie struggles to develop guys who don’t pound the zone. Just about every pitcher in the last three years that can locate, they all get better

isn’t that development in a nutshell?

The guys in this thread are right, yeskie is just lucky to have stumbled into jobs at some of the premier programs in the country for some of the best coaches in the country. Which is why he has the accolades he has. Dude obviously sucks and all these head coaches are morons and don’t know what they are doing hiring him.

Excellent job keeping your head in the game. Nice double play!

His season is about to end. I can imagine that negotiations can’t be completed until after the season. But, to answer your question, there was never any commitment. He said he will decide after the season. He may have decided where he will go if he goes. But obviously he hasn’t committed.
