He’s still trying to be a head coach. He’ll probably do television again this year if I were to guess.
Why does the amount he bet matter? There is a ton of things he could have bet on other than the games of the team he was playing for. An action that there was a known consequence for. He did it anyway.

I don’t think any president has been set that would imply our internaional players will not be eligible. It seems very unlikely that RJ Luis Jr will be, maybe you could make an argument against Yam Madar because he is 25.

Yes. Why would it not?
Yeah, I mean the portal window disadvantage exists. But also for many programs, the ability to build a CWS caliber team with skill and leadership can’t be replaced in the portal anyway. LSU really isn’t one of those programs. Being elite every season probably isn’t reasonable, and you can see why. But also a total collapse of a season can’t be blamed on the early portal window.
Well, coincidentally, they won as many regional games as LSU this year
What a ridiculous thread. Obviously downvote farming
Maybe he’ll head over to Boston college, seemed like they had a good thing going this year.
What part of what you said is a counter argument to what is said?
I don’t think there is any doubt that playing later in the season is a disadvantage in the transfer portal era. But not one so big that it would cause a complete next season collapse. Just a small contributor to a failure.
He said that in the summer. Before the season started. Probably in reference to the 2024-2025 team.
Personally, I dont have a clue. I haven’t really been able to watch them actually play. I’ve just been able to see their highlights. My hopes are high though.
To summarize. Reporter asked Jay about it.

quote:

Right now, I have zero interest in that at this time. Now, that's at this time. I haven't been offered an MLB job, is what I would say. I'm fully into this and there's a lot that we need to do to be the best we can be and I want to be the best program in the country forever

Edit:
I think context is lost in this is because of the question asked. “Have you ever been interested in becoming a mlb manager”. I think that if the reporter asks him with more of a present tense, he probably doesn’t include the part where he said he has never been offered.

He’s out of eligibility He played majority of the season injured LSU needs more players like him, he’s an all around good human & gives 110% to his team

Stanny will be a blessing wherever he goes. Obviously unlike the poster you replied to. He’ll be missed.

UCLA is a tough read because their conference is a joke

B10 is rough, but UCLA played plenty of good OOC teams. Swept TCU, beat A&M, Tennessee, and Mississippi St. they are a very good team.

Unfortunately I’m limited to his highlights. But I will say I lime what I see offensively. Looks like a really competent player. Not just tall. Not sure about his rebounding or how he will adjust to the more athletic players in the SEC.
I think the only one who we have to question is RJ Luis Jr. who is probably the most important as well.
This is a strange callout thread. It’s also a little bit premature. It definitely has the makeup of an excellent defensive group if it comes to fruition.
Edit: im specifically talking about RJ Luis Jr.
Well, if it works out, that’s the offensive production we had not obtained. Really hope this works out.
