Sean Brady(-140) vs Michael Morales (+120)

I see Bo Nickal finally got dropped to the prelims after the fans made enough noise about the absurdity of him being on the PPV.

JDM vs Islam should be absolute banger. Craig Jones and Volk are both helping JDM train on their own dime.

Valentina vs Weili is probably the best female fight in 5 yrs (on paper).

So many great fights on that main card.

Welcome to filmmaking.

Professional play pretenders made to look like cool heroes through the the extreme hard work and talent of everyone else...
Apparently Tim Brando thinks Nebraska is on the 'coast' and traveled 'coast to coast' to get TO UCLA.
Whey did the Nebraska back cut back and stop his. Momentum short of 1st down????

Things that make you go.. Hmm..
Why would Ferentz save the TO, there?
Phil Parker is the best coordinator in the country.
Levin and Shapiro are both foreign assets. frick them.

Volleyball chicks are always underrated

Don't think any straight American male who attended a university with volleyball squad ever thought of them as "underrated."

"Sure, I don't want to date the tall, graceful, beautiful, stunning, athletic girl in hot pants who plays for the most non-ghetto/trashy, non-lesbian sport on campus".... Said no one ever....

Those people never make for good WAGs.

feels like it will make things difficult for the Bucs to commit that much money to one player.

Will gut Tampa's loaded roster. They've basically been paying discount rates for QBs for since the Jameis days. Brady was only making $25M/yr when guys like Cousins and Dak were making $35-40M.

It kept their rosters intact for the most part over their run the past few yrs.

However, Licht is such a good GM and such a good drafter, they are probably thinking they'll make up for it on the back end with letting older players walk and stacking the roster with young, cheap talent.

Tars and Case are the heros of the film. Everyone else acted stupidly and selfishly.

There's a really good joke here, but I don't know what it is yet and it probably gets you banned.
The Texas schools have actual billionaires. LSU gets it $$ from ambulance chasing lawyers and stealing from child charities and taxpayer slush funds.

To Live and Die in L.A. another Petersen classic from the 80s

If you would have told a film fan in 1986 that William Peterson would be the biggest star in Hollywood by 1990, everyone would have believed you. Manhunter and To Live and Die, back to back... Wow. But really, that was basically it.

Kind of amazing Peterson didn't become a mega star. He was like a combination of Tom Cruise and Matthew McCoughnehey, but with the darkness and intensity of a young Al Pacino.

I guess he just got some really bad advice, and by 1990 was doing fricking Young Guns II, and not Rain Man or Goodfellas. Kind amazing, because he would have worked both of those parts. Goes to show how a great agent/mentor really can be help make a star.

Also, can we just mention Michael Mann's 80a run:

Thief
Miami Vice
Manhunter

It's A nonexistent sport nationally except for weeks in October. It's basically CBB now, but less fun and less buzz.

Most national media is talking NFL and CFB today and just mentioning "oh man, what a great game 7."

MLB is a regional sport now and basically hockey with a bit more attention.
Literally the same viewership as a regular season NFL game.
His max was in college was the low-mid 50s and it felt like a 50-50 shot if he would make anything over 50.

His first year, he was basically maxed out around 45yds and missed quite a few.

I don't understand how kickers ar making such a huge jump from college to NFL recently. He's basically added 15+ Yds and enhanced his accuracy tremendously in just 2 yrs.

Do narrower hash marks and footballs make that big of a diffenece?
Fitting it's against the Raiders I guess. Probably would have been good from 70+.

Ron Howard's 80s directorial work is crazy underrated and diverse.

Night Shift - '82
Splash - '84
Cocoon - '85
Gung Ho -'86
Willow - '88

Every one of those were/are cable rewatchables classics.
I think Buckner was indebted to the mob. It's the only explanation for that play. Just simply no way a major league ever makes such a kindergarten blunder like that.
