We need to just hire Bobby full time and get a decent D coordinator. Someone respectable and see what happens.

I hear that DJ Durkin may come available.

Since being fired from us 15 years ago, what has bobby done that is more impressive than what silverfield has accomplished in his last three years?

Don't bring logic into this.

Are we the poors?

Yes. Been that way for a long-time. We milked Jerry Jones facilities money for all it was worth.

A true facade for the lack of financial backing. Real boosters are generally people whose names you don't know.

There three notable exceptions - John Tyson, Yellawood guy for Auburn, and the Haslams at Tennessee.

The risk!?!

Arkansas is 14-57 in conference play over the last 9 seasons. Vanderbilt passed Arkansas in conference wins since 2012 yesterday afternoon.

Exactly what does Arkansas have to lose? If it's Bobby, so be it, but this is not some "turning point moment" in the history of Arkansas football where young coaches should be looked past because we need a proven winner.

Speaking of winning, Bobby is 0-3 and his offensive skill players have single-handedly cost Arkansas 4 games this season.

Kelly fired back that he wanted to make other staff moves Woodward wasn’t comfortable with. The situation then escalated, with the head coach pushing back hard against his boss.

That'll do it, for sure.
I chuckled. Not gonna lie.

Is there scaffolding or a lift of some kind within the enclosure?
Is the AD getting fired as well?

Moron.
They might win out. They'd play so hard for that guy during the remainder of this season...
Based on the effort in last night's game, they'll cheer his departure and the assistant coaches will be relieved by the prospect of unemployment.

Petrino can coach circles around Silverfield with his own players and team. I know for a fact that Pittboss was slowing down Petrino and his offense/practices, etc.

It sucks that our players are such suckage for this to be BP's tryout. He will probably not be hired, and we get either chard or bert 2.0

Rev, I don't really disagree with any of this.

However, equating Silverfield, Norvell, Lashlee, Sumrall, etc. to Chad Morris is assinine and deserves push-back.

The new coach doesn't have to be a 375 LB, drunkard nor does said coach have to necessarily have a losing record.

As a matter of fact, I would avoid both.

I do not see silverfield as a decent enough of a recruiter, etc for the sec

But Bobby Petrino is well-known for his recruiting prowess and bubbly personality...

Auburn is a better job than all except for maybe LSU.

Again, any coach you “look forward” on has maybe 1% chance of being successful, if you’re lucky. Remember Chad Morris? Yeah he was the next big thing. Most up and comer hires are gonna turn out just like that

Equating Morris and his losing record at SMU to Mike Norvell and Ryan Silverfield at Memphis is ridiculous.

Norvell and Silverfield were a combined 87-37 at Memphis. Morris was 14-22 at SMU.

To insinuate that Morris was somehow a celebrated hire in 2018 is laughable. He was not "the next big thing". Norvell would have done a fine job (at least better than the last 7 years) and Silverfield would do a fine job as well in this cycle.
Mississippi State will win the game similarly to the game in '23. We'll be their only conference win.

Yep. 79-62 is Fuente & Norvell’s record post Memphis.

Well, Arkansas is 15-57 in conference play since 2017. So no, I don't care.

Fuente had a 10 win season at VaTech and went to the ACC Championship game. Lasted like 6 years. Norvell had an undefeated season (until all his players quit the bowl game in protest) where he won 13 games and the ACC Championship. He has not been fired yet and beat Alabama (which Arkansas hasn't done since the Bush administration)

Their "failures" would be huge successes here. If Norvell had been hired when Chad Morris was, Arkansas football would be in much better shape.

Fans always want the next Saban, or more recently the next Cignetti.

No. Actually, our fans always want someone from the past like Bobby Petrino or Rhett Lashlee (or from searches ago - Butch Davis).

It's time to actually look forward for once.
Taylen Green's "signature win" has to be winning in Starkville last year since he did not finish the Tennessee game. It was full blown Nick Starkel today.

1) Wilson
2) Mallet
3) B. Allen
4) M. Jones
5) Jefferson
6) Franks
7) Dick
8) McFadden in the Wildcat
9) A. Allen (is incredibly overrated)
10) Green
