4th and a foot at the 25 with two timeouts down by 3 and you do some toss out pitch.

Where was the 235 pound $3 million man for the sneak? For a goddamn foot?

That is pathetic play calling.

He tossed it to Cobb not Mabson.

Just dumb.

That too.

Ball of hate #29 has been bouncing off dudes all half and we give it to Cobb who has done nothing.

I have to take Golesh’s side on this one.

Yes, Mabson is the better running back and would have gotten the 1st down.

But Cobb has a really good attitude and that is more important.

Plus, we picked him to start the season and you are not allowed to change how.

(For reference, see the quarterback position).

I say we follow UAB’s lead and shut it down for at least 2 seasons to save face. This is embarrassing and humiliating while just causing the real fans who care about Auburn grief most weeks every fall

I'm so sick of Auburn higher in these offensive gurus, allegedly just to run a tall sweep to the field on 4th and a foot with the game on the line when you have a 6 ft 4 235 lb quarterback.

I'll support the staff that is here until they're not.... But if AG doesn't work out if they hire another offensive head coach I will not watch a game. With the exception of Gus nails on having two solid years amongst a lot of mediocrity, all of our success in my lifetime has come from higher and defensive-minded head coaches and allowing them to bring in a competent OC.

We brought in a ton of players this year. Not many with SEC talent. I didn’t expect an 8 win season, but I expected a team that showed signs of being well coached. I am yet to see that.
Did we completely waste NIL on this roster?

Joel Gordon, Auburn’s offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach, is the primary (and sole designated) play-caller on game day in 2026.

A slow developing pitch for inches is what killed Auburn's chances.

I didn't expect to see a win today, but there were moments of hope. Poor discipline let to a bunch of critical penalties and quite a bit of bad play calling doomed AU to the loss.

Na, gotta start with AD before we go firing coaches after a handful of games.

I say we fire Cohen and Golesh. I don't see anything in Golesh that makes me want him any longer.

Its just as much if not more a talent problem. We have just as many problems on Defense. They are arm tackling in the 1st quarter and 3 missing tackles before someone makes a play.

I can agree that the talent isn’t there, but we are showing zero improvement. And what did we buy with NIL?

If this guy thinks BB was good enough to compete in the SEC, that’s all I need to know. He needs to either be an OC under a coach that actually knows offense or be a G5 coach. But failed AD we have thinks he’s the guy. MSU baseball coach folks. Go ask MSU if they want him back.

We have jumped in opponent talent on the season too. I'm not defending him but am waiting to see before clearly saying it's his coaching.

A bunch of players that wouldn't be 2nd string anywhere in the sec.

BINGO. This tells the tale. He says he knows what’s wrong in postgame. But does it get fixed?
