Interesting on who the top 5 would be.. and I would imagine the fan top 5 would probably be a bit different than reality. Or maybe not. What five would it be?

And you can’t blame that on Golesh either. Whether some fans realize it or not, we were going to have a group of players enter the portal anyways, no matter what coach we brought in. No worries with those players

Not only spending appropriately but I think Golesh is going to shock some fans at his recruiting efforts. Luck is when preparation meets opportunity

BB, Deuce, Cobb, Cam, ESJ, Lew, Ellis, JSmith, JJ Faulk, DSmith, Autry, Crawford, X, Melendez, Riddick, Deas, Godby, Winters, Fagans and McPherson.

That is a great core group of players to build from. Supplement them with win now players at our biggest needs(OL, CB, DL, Buck/Edge, TE) and we have a ton of money to spend with cutting some serious loose ends.

So you just expect everything to go bad at this point. It’s not like Amaris filled up the stat sheets and production hard to replace. Mitchell is more than capable and less money. Amaris never seemed to want to be in Auburn anyways, it was, always, only a matter of time

Bear and Brady are similar, to when Freeze snuck in Lew and Faulk in his first abbreviated class. I believe they could be comparable talents, anyways

The difference with this staff is, they will not only spend money but I think in much more of an organized, calculated and deliberate fashion

Brady Marchese, the WR that decommited from Michigan, seems to be a good player from what I’ve gathered. Would be a great addition if it came to fruition

We’re most definitely going to be in the top 10 but could be better than that with this portal class, so far

If Deuce is smart and I think he is, he has a grasp on what he needs to do. Auburn is a great opportunity for him to be special. There aren’t many offensive systems in the country that have produced what Golesh and Brown has.

Brown is one of only 12 players who have passed for 3k and ran for 1k in a season. The names on that list include Vince Young, Johnny Football, Lamar Jackson(twice), Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts(Oklahoma), and Jayden Daniels, the latest even being transfer QBs.

There were also 2 QBs from Northern Illinois that did it back to back seasons, which brings me to my point. They had a prolific offense. They had a proven system.
Brown has done it, is very capable of doing it again and I truly believe that Deuce has the ability to do it as well.
This is a golden opportunity for everyone involved, especially Deuce, no pun intended :lol:
