Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky released the latest US-Ukrainian-European 20-point peace plan on December 23, which the United States will reportedly present to Russia.
The Kremlin will need to compromise on demands it has long insisted on, including many that are incompatible not only with the latest 20-point peace plan but also with the initial 28-point plan.
Putin will agree only when his back is to the wall and he has a gun to his head.

An old Auburn friend (RIP) went to vet school. He said that the way to get a dog to release a bite is to put fingers or thumb in their mouth so that the dog's lips are forced over the teeth then apply strong pressure.

The First Amendment was intended to foster the free and open exchange of ideas. It is not supposed to be a one sided re-education camp-like PA system.

Picking all of the wrong leaders for all of the wrong reasons. You'd think that actual experience as a firefighter would be a major prerequisite.

My nephew went down the "moon landings were fake" rabbit hole until I had him look up satellite images of all of the tracks and equipment left on the Moon's surface. It's still there.

Before the 17th Amendment, Senators sat at the discretion of the state legislatures and were appointed by the legislatures. The problem was that too many legislatures ended up dead-locked so the can was kicked down the road to popular election. The 17th Amendment was a mistake. It should have just forced a decision in a deadlock while keeping senators at the beck and call of the state legislatures.

It’s not the role of the federal government to enforce local criminal laws.
Didn’t realize we had so many big government lovers here.
A bunch of commie rioters attacking a federal ICE facility is well within federal powers as are many other organized criminal activities.

Jury finds Judge Hannah Dugan guilty of obstruction for helping an immigrant evade federal agents. It's a step in the right direction.
