re: Spontaneous Coaching Decisions.

These skits are genius. I look forward to them every week. Always a laugh, sometimes at our own expense though
There are reasons to love and hate any active coach. Hiring a new HC is not a science so its really trying to make the best calculated guess on who will Win. The LSU situation definitely hasn't helped their situation and I hope Auburn can use it to our advantage.

Objectively there are 3 of the top 20 best jobs for a college coach open. They all will have equal chance of making a good or bad hire picking from the same crop. Time is the only way to tell who is a contender and who isnt.

That being said Dillingham is the obvious choice after Kiffen
I wish I could give more than one upvote. I really needed the laugh.

Fear-mongering over losing players is stupid. At the end of the day, money is the best recruiter. I don't give a shite how much they like DJ Durkin: if you pay any of these kids enough money and sell them on the new vision, you will have a good chance to retain the players you want. If they don't want to stay, then the next guy is waiting in the Portal.

The whole post is spot on.

I guess for Mercer game, I’d put JA out there.

This is my thought. Hopefully we could get up 2 scores with JA in the first then play Deuce the last 3 qtrs. More game time without as much stress as starting. His last showing was not promising, and Id hate to see more of that and JA have to be brought in to win

Maybe I could get a Maintenance position in the office since I live close. Maybe I could go in as a spy and reporting to a University Lawyer :dude:

Well here's a gump worried about LSU business. Thats definitely an Auburn characteristic

You would think the shite LSU is pulling with Kelly makes that job a little less attractive?

You actually think the SEC office will allow THAT?

Exactly what I was thinking. I wonder if we would have won the OKLA game even with the officiating, would the refs started favoring us the rest of the season knowing we might be legit? I doubt it, but cant help but wonder
I agree with what you are saying. If Nix can show 8 more quarters of the same offense it would flip the whole offensive pitch around. I was making the point assuming we bring in a coach who has had good QB play recently. These 2 reasons on top of our WR room(assuming they return). Is enough to give even the most pessimistic man hope. Its not as sure Yes but its not a sure No. Along with money, thats 4 reasons that gives us as much chance as any school to bring em in Spots....
Blackerby and Locked On. I dont enjoy the personality, but I they make really reliable content. If something newsworthy goes down at Auburn I will get the details from an exclusive podcast. Other than that, their dailt show lasts just as long as my shower so it works out.

It has become so obvious, that I try to ignore the biased calls to keep college games interesting still

The timing of our penalties skews the effect as well. A holding on a 50 yard touchdown goes down the same as a hold on Vandy when they lost 3 yards in the stat sheet but affects the momentum so much. Ive always thought refs choosing the worst time to throw a flag is a discreet solution to swinging the game the way they want. But maybe its all coincidence

You know you've been screwed when you feel guilty for complaining about the refs so much, and afraid you'll be labeled a cry-baby.
She expects us to try to find a woman from the sea of trash that is left unmarried, and pay extra taxes? shite, if I had enough to afford extra taxes then I wouldnt be single
All the women I met that were that pretty kept trying to tell me drugs are bad. What planet is she from?

Its real easy to get caught up in those vibes. But doesnt that feel like mf Disneyland

NOPE, not again next year. Its too early to get me to fall for that. I may have fell for it the past 5 losing seasons, but I at least made it until spring without getting excited about the Auburn fall heart ache

It seems like there is a directive from the top to protect the teams that have a chance to make it to the playoffs. It’s all about the money

This right here makes me less interested in CFB than Auburn being in their worst period of my life

You didnt watch football for 40 YEARS prior to 2021? If you did and liked Georgia you know exactly how it feels
