re: What job is AI-proof?

Millwright/ maintenance. It’s an easier job typically and has zero chance of being replaced by robots because you’re fixing something different every day

This is true
Coming from a welder turned to millwright, get into Millwright and maintenance. Better pay and less stressful on the body and much easier to do until an older age. There’s a reason most welders are young. It’s too physically demanding to do much past 50
Also, welding isn’t what makes it hard. Welding is rather easy. It’s the constant pressure to be as fast as possible and physically handling heavy steel for 50-65 hours a week. I worked as an ironworker for years before switching to millwright. I never had a job that averaged less than 56 hours a week
Absolutely. I’ve had it both ways. Having a best friend you’re physically and mentally connected with is much better than having to call your buddy every time your wife does something you hate and didn’t ask your opinion
I can finally quit checking this thread every few hours just to see if this has happened

Well this is one reason why you don’t hire some random bozo, who had never stepped foot in Auburn, Alabama before the hire. Then, promise him millions, if he sucks so bad, that we literally are paying him to stay tf away from our program
Agreed. Yellafella needs to tell him to buy the best qb he can and win at least 8 and the bowl next year or go back to Liberty

Hire the best QB coach money could buy. Take 3 mil from the nil collective and tell him to buy the best qb who answers the phone, then ask for extra donations to cover the money deficit in exchange for having a snowballs shot at making a good run next year

re: Would Jarquez be a Heisman candidate

I agree. Seems to be one of the most underrated running backs to graduate from Auburn. Put him on the 04 Auburn team and he’s a top 10-15 pick. I hope he does well at the next level. By seasons end he was by far my favorite player on this team

Eta: RBs aren’t really given a chance at a heisman in todays game
I think most expected McPherson to be healthy by season

Buck is more fitting. Maybe that’s a new slogan Buck Freeze

re: 13 Carries for 56 yards?

5 wide the first snap told me everything I needed to know about what to expect from the offense yesterday. What sucks is, my assumption was right

So you think a HB pass with only one receiver option, and that’s option being 55 yards across the field of 5 star dbs is something we should run again next year? Or especially when we are down but have just swung the momentum

That’s the thing. Losing doesn’t bother me. Losing because bucktooth is making millions to not be competent calling plays does. I knew when we came out 5 wide 1st snap

Well only 8 more months until I let the optimistic fans have me believing I can enjoy Auburn football like I used to, just for the team to shite on my Saturdays next year

Considering the circumstances I can’t think of a worse play to call than that double pass there. We finally move the ball and immediately get cute first play the next drive

Exactly. I knew when we came out 5 wide the first play that Hunter was gonna be under utilized this game
