What about Stokes?

Weird claim considering Smart has sent 2 3*’s to the first round.

About where Richt's classes were when Kirby lost 5 games with them in 2016.
Including to Vandy and Georgia Tech.
Oof!

Again , I am just reporting what those mouthpieces have said about the player before he was selected.
Posted on 5/1/21 at 4:15 pm to JoseyWalesTheOutlaw
Right, I’m just saying it would be weird to claim Smart can’t coach DB’s when Baker and Stokes were both 3*’s he sent to the first round. It’s just funny to hear ppl say Campbell wasn’t developed because he was picked at 33 rather than 32.

Ignore him.
There are trolls and idiots.
He is an idiot and believes that espn has draft experts (they are up there with their recruiting experts and fantasy experts. Lol).
Campbell was new to the position in high school. Battled injuries in 2018 and 2019. In 2020, he played his way to being the 4th player from his recruiting class drafted.
Does he need to improve? Absolutely. There isnt a player in the draft who will do well in the nfl off of their college abililities alone. They all need to hone their craft. Ignoring that obvious fact would ignore that college kids get 20+ hours for football a week and pros get up to 60-70.

You really want to look at classes inherited by each? I know O inherited two top 5 classes (one was ranked 2nd)
Kirby inherited one of the worst senior classes in UGA history (ranked 12th in '13) and had ZERO seniors drafted.
I'll take O for $500 Alex and it isn't close.

He has had 37 top 150 players that are/have been draft eligible and only 1 was taken in the first round (Isaiah Thomas).
So it would seem that our players are overrated and we in fact aren't underachieving. You can't have it both ways.

Will LSlose win next year?
No

Let’s actually break down this garbage claim in the OP
2016
5 Jacob Eason - transferred to Washington
12 Mecole Hardman - 2nd round, pick 56
14 Isaac Nauta - 7th round, pick 224
70 Julian Rochester - still enrolled (no seriously)
90 Ben Cleveland - 3rd round, pick 94
116 Chauncey Manac - transferred to Louisiana-Lafayette
122 Michael Carter - UDFA
138 Charlie Woerner - 6th round, pick 190
2017
16 Isaiah Wilson - 1st round, pick 29
25 Richard Lecounte - 5th round, pick 169
33 D’Andre Swift - 2nd round, pick 35
44 Jake Fromm - 5th round, pick 167
45 Andrew Thomas - 1st round, pick 4
49 Deangelo Gibbs - transferred to Tennessee
87 Netori Johnson - transferred to MTSU
107 Robert Beal - still enrolled
125 JJ Holloman - dismissed from the team
135 Mark Webb - waiting to be drafted 2021
137 Jaden Hunter - transferred to Western Kentucky
2018
2 Justin Fields - transferred to Ohio State
9 Zamir White - still enrolled
10 Jamaree Salyer - still enrolled
12 Tyson Campbell - 2nd round, pick 33
18 Adam Anderson - still enrolled
22 Cade Mays - transferred to Tennessee
23 Brenton Cox - transferred to Florida
31 Quay Walker - still enrolled
41 James Cook - still enrolled
51 Luke Ford - transferred to Illinois
62 Trey Hill - 6th round, pick 190
87 Otis Reese - transferred to Ole Miss
103 Channing Tindall - still enrolled
130 Kearis Jackson - still enrolled
144 Azeez Ojulari - 2nd round, pick 50
So, of the 34 top 150 draft eligible players you have:
- 6 players drafted in the first 2 rounds
- 11 players transferred or dismissed
- 9 still enrolled
- 1 UDFA
If you want to attribute the 2018 draft class to Kirby even though he didn’t recruit them, thats 4 more top 150 players in the first 2 rounds.

In the first round? Nice! I must have missed that. Should have at least 3-4 with the talent Kirby is bringing in. 8 is great. I retract my statement. Kirby is the goat
Posted on 5/1/21 at 4:42 pm to auzach91
Triggered Dawgs don't want to talk about the draft.
"Kirby doesn't waste talent, he just runs them all away."
"Kirby doesn't develop 5-stars, just 3-stars."
"Remember when we had our most talented team in history and lost 2 games? Why would we be upset at Kirby over that?"
Look at the retard bragging about 33% of their top 150 players transferring out.
