If it’s 2, then why say 1? It’s also odd to imply draft order determines NFL success or that it takes less development to send a 3* to the first round, but you do you.

Seems like they would, Tyler. But I mentioned that in my first post. I think you should work on your reading comprehension.

Quit making excuses. O got skulled this year with a stacked roster.the supposedly best CB in football got routinely embarrassed. O is the king of wasting talent

I suggest you and Tyler get together and read a little on the side to help each other. Clearly it’s mentioned why it said 1

You're an idiot. Two different true freshmen started at qb. O is superior to Smart and until Smart can beat O, the fact remains. You don't have a logical retort because O has owned dat arse boy. Now sit down.

Why does that post say draft eligible?
Every 4th and 5th year player returning for 2021 is draft eligible. Why would it matter if they didnt get drafted in the first round if they didnt even declare for the draft yet?

As i said...
Tyson Campbell was the #12 recruit in the country in 2018. 4 2018 recruits were drafted higher than him. He was the first pick in the 2nd round (27 draft picks from the 2016 and 2016 class ahead of him).

I would say that he got drafted ahead of his recruiting ranking even though he was in the second round.

This thread has obviously triggered armtackledawg and has caused him to make several low IQ statements and sad deflections.

O isn't even a good comparison because he hasn't recruited on Kirby's level.

I’d suggest stop making bad faith arguments. It’s clear you’re wrong about the initial number. It’s also clear draft order has no impact on NFL success. Michel and Fournette were both drafted in the first round, but I’d take Chubb over either.

Sorry the facts hurt. LSU had a stacked roster last year and went 5-5.

This thread is about wasting talent.

That fits the definition

Oh ok. We are ranked #1 for 2022 right now so I just wondered if they were gonna start soon or if our 8 draft picks and another 3 star-turned-first round pick was putting a dent in their plans.

Correct. I was wrong on the initial number as stated. I did zero research. Saw it and posted. Just wanted to know the boards opinion on the subject. Sounds like most agree. Kirby wastes talent.

The ESPN draft experts have said time and time again Campbell will have to be coached out of his bad habits when he hits the NFL turf. Perhaps you missed that.

What would you consider “wasting talent”? Overall finish compared to team recruiting ranking?
