I absolutely can

Not saying they’ll be elite but the first 2-3 corners won’t be bad

Safeties ever moreso

States secondary is our biggest question. DL and LB return a lot of experience and most of the offense returns

Biggest issue for uga is finding a reliable kicker.

Hope we can find one.

Offensively, the national media seems to have question marks about us at WR but I think most Arkansas fans are more concerned with the OT spot and think WR will be good. I guess media just assume Pittman will have a good OL but it’s tough having two new tackles.

Defense has to be the secondary by default until they prove otherwise after last year.

Most of our drama will be the tension between Fisher and Petrino.

This is first. O-Line is second.

Based on what exactly?

Duce Chestnut played at Syracuse and Zy Alexander played at Southeastern Louisiana, they've never faced anything like an SEC offense on a week to week basis.

They could be great, they could be average, they could be an absolute liability. No one has any clue how the LSU secondary will look this year.

RBs in pass protection.

Corners against NFL speed.

QB efficiency on 3rd down and red zone.

Missouri:

Biggest questions

Defense: Defensive end
We have tons of depth but what will the starters look like.

Offense: Center
Started a red shirt freshman last year after a transfer was ruled ineligible. Looks like he might win that spot back after we brought in guard from Houston to play for the spot.

We have some question marks on both sides, but we have talent. My concern is leadership. In 2021 our upperclassmen, some former walkons especially on defense, were tired of losing and played their guts out. I hadn’t seen that in a long time and hopefully we can see that again.

It’s tough to build a team chemistry with one year portal players.

Replacing Skenes and Floyd in the rotation and Crews in CF.

I am thinking the secondary will be good. I really don’t have a lot of questions. Good but not great defense.

My question is all about the execution level of running a new offense not the players themselves. The players are what they are and as most return from a 9 win team, it’s the coaching change that adds doubt.

QB is a huge issue, imo. And then who will be the monster in the middle of the DL. We had Jordan Davis, then Jalen Carter. Was hoping Bear Alexander was going to be the next one, but the portal took care of that.

1. Interior OL - In both pass protection and run blocking it must improve. DJ Campbell and Neto Umeozulu in real fights to supplant last year's starters is a good sign.

2. Sarkesian's ability to make in game adjustments - Last year he did a poor job of making adjustments and going off script.

3. Edge holding up against the run - The likely starter at Buck, Ethan Burke, was average against the run when he got his opportunities last season. This needs to see huge improvement or Alabama is going to abuse him. He does have excellent run stoppers behind him on that side of the field to mitigate this in CB Ryan Watts and boundary corner Jalen Catalon. They also might put Alfred Collins back out on the edge against Bama.

4. Catalon's shoulder - Will it hold up?

5. Ewers - He wasn't good enough last year. But QBs usually improve drastically in year 2 under Sarkesian.

Not certain there’s a Jordan Davis / Jalen Carter on the team

Yes, but continued:
OL entire unit: Will there be actual improvement?

QB: Will there be actual improvement regardless who starts?

Special teams: Must be better all around.

OC: Will new OC Moore be an improvement? Should be easy compared to Drink.

TE: Do we have a competent one???

Defense.

On offense we should be able to maul most teams with our rushing game but not sure Pittman will ever have an offense with the precision to put up the huge numbers require to win shootouts every week.

Quarterback…I don’t know how it could be anything else. Stetson was an easy target but that rascal got us out of some spots. Who knows if the next guy is up to it. Should have a real good support cast.

Motivation and entitlement, particularly among the young guys. 17 and 18 year old kids think just cuz they suit up in a UGA uni, they're just gonna waltz out there and cream everybody they play and win a NC because that's what teams 'do' at UGA. Its the whole Rocky III thing...he lost his passion and the 'eye of the Tiger' and Clubber Lang mopped the floor with him. He thought he was just gonna win because he was the great Rocky.
I hope this team hasn't lost the eye of the tiger.
