Birmingham had a world class medical center. Huntsville has a huge NASA facility. That alone puts it ahead of most countries.

I thought the ump was squeezing dietz a bit. I think if he could have gotten a few of those 50/50 calls he might have had a productive outing. Having said that he let his frustration get the best of him.

That's not true. He was a very successful high school coach. He wouldn't have had any trouble becoming a position coach at a sunbelt type school. He maybe could have been an OC for a lesser school. But an SEC school wasnt making him OC unless he delivered his recruits.
It was clearly unethical behavior to put his interests above his players' interests. He took a shortcut that helped his career.

Gus was a one trick pony. Once defenses adjusted to the tempo offense he really couldn’t offer anything else.
It’s a shame Nutt wasn’t smart enough to realize Gus’s potential but at the same time who could blame him. He used high school recruits as leverage to take short cuts in ascending the coaching ranks.
This superbowl shows how important administration is. We always seem to make the wrong decisions on football coaches. We’re a lot more like the raiders than the patriots.

Missouri doesn’t belong in the sec because they suck at everything. Having said that it’s hard to argue that the ozarks aren’t southern culture. Mark Twain national forest sounds pretty southern to me.
For the most part is a zero sum game. Irvin wants more blacks in board rooms. That pretty much means less whites in board rooms.
I guess nobody is ready to be hurt again. This is the least hyped baseball season I can remember. The roster appears to be loaded once again. Consensus preseason top 10.
We seem to win when we shoot better than our opponent.

Arkansas already has a public university in the sunbelt. It’s not exactly known as an academic powerhouse.
If you look at he top public universities in academic rankings almost all the them are in power 5 conferences.
