Sure but the difference in 20 million and 1.8 billion is astronomical. Especially when you consider what you actually take home. Most of us could blow through 6 million pretty quickly. Pro athletes do it all the time and end up broke. Not saying I’d do that but you’d have to exercise some caution. It’d be damn near impossible to spend $600 million on yourself.

There was a 5 minute period in the first half that we were rattled and fell apart. That was the difference. Houston is a better team right now but we learn some things tonight. Still have a very high ceiling.

He's way too loose with the ball. Dribbles it a mile away from his body. Need to try to get him some spot up looks where he doesn't have to try to create his own shot tbh.

He’s just not explosive. I don’t think he’s ready for the next level.

Yep. We’ll probably lose but there’s a path to victory now with every Houston big in foul trouble, Loving the Ewing coming out party.

First game we’ve looked outclassed this year.

If we had gone to and won 3 straight bowl games would you or would you not feel better about where we are?

Winning 3 straight Memphis level bowls to go 7-6 wouldn’t do anything for me.
I sometimes wish I had a simple mind. Sometimes..,
Kentucky started having a little sucess on the football field and got out of thier lane. Instead of staying all in on basketball they started thinking bigger and now they suck at everything.
Pretty crazy that a mail in dvd rental company became a movie making monopoly over a couple of decades.
Spurrier

And it’s not close. This is like saying who is better Steve Jobs or Tim Cook. It’s a lot easier to tweak something that is already going well than to build something from the ground up.
He made it clear he didn’t want the Arkansas job. I know our job has challenges but he just failed at Florida. Not sure what he expects.

Not even saying we wanted him but he’s not in a position to be choosy.

Right now, at least Silverfield has had quite a bit more success than Morris.

I agree but that’s an extremely low bar. Like don’t be our worst coach ever. Not sold on a ceo type coach. Our better SEC coaches have been offensive play callers, CBP, hooty dale. There’s a reason Kiffin and Bobby hill have done better than thier predecessors.
Not if Indy wins. IU getting the #1 seed would represent a monumental shift in college football.
Kentucky has to be happy cal beat thier rival. Right?

Hopefully we have enough NIL to get SEC depth we so badly need.

I can’t imagine that it takes much nil to sign a 3 star high school recruit. Most of these guys will be scout team and maybe special teams next year. If they do blossom into starters we’ll have to pay to retain them.

I’m more interested in the portal hall. A projected SEC starter and impact players will be where the money is spent.
