I don’t think the sky is falling. Yes we’ve lost 3 series but all were against preseason top 10 teams that were probably more motivated than us. We also outscored UGA and Florida.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see us come out with something to prove this weekend and sweep Texas.

Hard to tell if this is just a mid season slump or regression to the mean. I suspected the Vandy road sweep was an anomaly.

Probably shouldn’t count wins against Missouri. I feel like Arkansas is a 10-5 type team. Really good but flawed. In fact most of the top half of the standings benefited from sweeping mizzou.

It went bad. Wood’s best pitch is the high fastball. A&M wasn’t swinging at it and the ump had a low strike zone.
On a positive note GG looked like the ace we were hoping for. Probably the most effective pitcher against A&Ms potent offense.

Good player. Until recently only got coaching jobs under his uncle. I'm always suspicious of people who are only qualified for a job when its a relative hiring.

He took a pay cut to come to Arkansas. Was making 8.5 at UK.

I'm cautiously optimistic. The offense has far exceeded expectations.
We need consistency from our Saturday starter and an elite closer. Moving GG to the closer role would achieve both.
Just hope we are the same team in June that we are now. We've been the best team in April several times without bringing home the trophy.
