1993 Georgia - Florida

I'm at the game. It's cold and wet. Zeier throws what appeared to be a game tying TD at the end of the game. Place goes nuts. I hugged some dude I didn't know. All the pain of sitting through the miserable weather made worth it in one throw.

Then the refs decide Florida DB Lott called a T.O. right before the snap.

Zeier's next pass falls incomplete. Game over. 33-26 gators. Life sucks, then you die.

Yep, that tracks. Carry on.
And I'm sure all of the little 9uburn idiots will eat this up with a spoon. Which was the point of the A.D.'s whiney little screed to begin with. To pander to 9uburn morons.

He knows his audience. :dunno:
So in the year the SEC shows itself to be the most dominant baseball conference in history - putting 5 teams into the college World Series - Georgia dominates the conference winning the title going away, and then wins the SEC Tournament to cap it off, and moves into the CSW as the top ranked team in the country.

Not sure how to process all of this amazing information. :pimp:

Context who has beaten GT two times this year …. ONLY OU

That's great and all - but here is some additional context:

Georgia 7ech are consummate choke artists. They don't know how to win anything of significance. They have never won a national championship in baseball and, although they are a solid program, you will never go broke betting against them.

Again - good on you for beating Georgia 7ech twice, though.

Y’all laugh, but who is good enough to beat Oklahoma in Omaha?

Context. Who of the teams in Omaha would have crushed Kansas like OU is doing?

Probably most of them. I'm not saying this to diminish Oklahoma, but Kansas is .... Kansas.
Oregon strikes me as a team that, if given a choice, would rather look good than play good. And they are failing at both, imo.
We've got to get the automated strike challenge in college ball. I know it will happen at some point - but the sooner the better, imo.

The Kansas pitcher is having the kind of moment that completely ends your career mentally.
So far, the SEC is wrecking shop tonight. :pimp:
Kansas being very casual in the field. What the frick.
Just glad we don't need to make it 7-0.

Yeah, that's total bullish*t.
Weak effort by the outfielder and weak effort on the in-play foul ball right before that. Both USC fielders played scared of the wall, really scared of the wall. And I think it cost them the game.
