As heavily armed as we are as a country, neither the police nor military could control us. It would be horrific. If it got as bad here as it is in Iran and other parts of the world, it would go from protests to guerilla warfare with a quickness.

I want Israel, Palestine, Netanyahu, Levin, Shapiro, and the entire Middle East to frick all the way off. That entire region has been nothing but a money pit for us ever since the end of WW2. We have major interests in the Pacific, moderate interests in South America, and minor ones in Europe. I don't see where we should be focusing any resources on the Middle East or Africa.

I'm Gen-X and don't quite have the disdain for Boomers that some do; however, they had it pretty easy compared to what my Zoomer kids will have. A regular factory worker could afford a 1,500 square foot 3/2 fairly easily in the 70's and 80's. My kids are going to have to work twice as hard to have half as much.
